Not positive that they are compulsory - the membership number fields are not asterisked.

It greatly helps - otherwise he has to contact me to verify membership. The new membership cards went out with the January issue.

The membership numbers aren't mandatory, but as Peter say, they help as the records are keyed by membership number.
Once you've been set up in the system (ie if you are in the standings already), you shouldn't need to re-submit your membership number on subsequent results. Unless there are multiple people called Richard Bodley Scott.

Well apparently there are. When I first signed up for Skype it would not let me have Richard.Bodley.Scott I had to be Richard.Bodley.Scott1. And Richard.Bodley.Scott lives in Azerbaijan.

Who would have thought that Richard Bodley Scott would be an Azerbaijani name?

Goes a long way to explaining how those barbarians of yours whopped my noble lads in that 2nd game - I was playing 2 of you!

Any other Society of Ancients members want to play a pair of championship games?

Format:

400 points DAG game.
Each side picks their army to use in the first game.

Second game they swap army lists, but can design their own version of the list.

----------------------

Chris, Alan, Peter - are you going to play each other?

I'm already playing Mike (Triarius) & Alan. Who's Chris please?
Also members are geordietaf & jdm.

There may be more but I'm not aware of them as yet.

He is. Aka Robin. He joined on 16th March.

I don't usually use my first name (Robin) in social settings but it did show up for joining the society since it's the first name on my credit card.

I have two games going with Alan although he's using Pyrrhic in both while I ended up using Seleucid in one and Parthians in the other.

I'll be happy to do a pair of games with Peter as well.

I don't appear to have had an e-mail response to paying my subscription (by Paypal) so I do not know what my current membership number is. (Unless it is the same as last year, in which case I still don't know what it is  )

I have played two games with Peter and am currently being (enjoyably) beaten by Chris and Richard in pairs of games.

Any other takers?

Any takers?

OK. We cannot count it towards the SOA thing, but a game is a game. Password is ahuyton
