I am keen to attend as it looks like I will be in the Uk during this time. However I am on a 6 month world trip so dont have an army or terrain etc.

What would be my chances of organising a loaner army? If anyone could help out that´d be great.

Pretty good I'd say.

If you let us know what you want to borrow it would be a good start :)

As Dave R as pointed out we can loan you a army for BRITCON just let the list checker know or me off list which army you are going to use and we can bring it to BRITCON for you, as I am there all week helping set the competition and show up.

Just a reminder that we are now less than 2 weeks away from Britcon 2010 so there isn't much time left if you still want to enter. With 4 FoG:AM competitions and the last pre-publication FoG:R beta competition there is something for every FoG player :D

Also there are now a limited number of day entries available - contact the BHGS at BHGS@slitherine.co.uk for details.

We are now in the final stages of sorting the periods for Britcon. If there are any players who are willing to bring armies for more than one period or ruleset to help us with evening up the numbers can you get in touch.

I could switch to FOG R, but I'd need a set of the rules.

You can get the beta rules if you enter the comp. I suspect that if you ask JD and/or RBS nicely you could get them just for being a floater between FoG:R and FoG as that would be really handy to keep things on an even keel.

Hammy, I can bring an army for the FoG:AM 15mm Period One if you let me know (that was what I original nominated on my entry form) so that I can get the list in for checking. If that works, drop me a mail and I will get the list in.

Hi Tim, thanks for the offer but if you are down for FoG:R at the moment (which I think you are) I would rather you didn't float away as FoG:R is one of the smaller periods. FoG:AM can more easily lose a player in the event of odd numbers. Also if I get a few FoG:AM players who will shuffle around if needed then we only get a maximum of one bye between FoG:AM 1,2,3 & 4 and FoG:R which is nice.

Same as Kevin, I could probably do FOG/R(not seen the rules or lists though) at a pinch (I'm currently in Late Fog).

As of today, baring late entries and sundry wargamers cock-ups, etc.

Nik if it's all ok bar 'sundry wargamers cock-ups' then we are good to go - can't imagine cock-ups from wargamers...
