Too quick off the mark Hammy, Dave meant I was the first to buy a ticket, which I believe I was.

Yes Phil but I was being polite.

Feel free to replace man with woman, vegetable or other suitable insultive word.

You were indeed the first to buy a ticket but neither you nor Dave was first to get their list in.

I actually received the first list before the tickets went on sale

I am most likely not going to be playing. I will bring an army in case we get a last minute no show but I suspect that I will not be pushing my toys round again this year.

Last I heard there was only one slot left but the organisers are looking to see if they can get us some more tables.

Well, there are 20 tables set aside for Ancient wargaming currently free...

I think you mean 10 further tables rather than 20 but I do take your point.

It would at least be amusing if we could sell out our initial table allocation before any of those other tables are used.

The organisers are looking to find more space so I think there is a chance that we will be able to go over 32 players. That said if anyone really wants to be sure of getting a place there is (or was last I looked) still one space left.

I have had an e-mail from the organisers to confirm that they have sold all the slots. There is a plan to get more space for FoG and I am informed that there will be some more spaces, it is just not sure at present how many there wil be.

Watch this space

Due to the very high level of demand for places the Games Expo team have managed to find some additional spaces :D

That means there are now another 8 spaces for this event.

Grab them now while they are hot.

Surely better to wait for them to cool down - health and safety!!
I see the DBMM tickets are a popular as a t**d in a swimming pool!!
God that takes me back I haven't done any DBMM bashing for years now!
Speaking of which if you look on the Slitherine PC web-site top of the rankings is somebody called 'kilroy'. For those of you who do not remember this was the aka of a rabid American (OK a tortology) who abused anybody who valuely criticised that rule set!
See you in Brum!
