The Polish were too strong for the Ottomans in both games,
Although Maeglyr used them a lot better than I did, and almost won the second game. Thanks to Maeglyr for both games.

Tyronec, my Division D pairing score with Rogerbosso needs to be adjusted upwards. My loss to Rogerbosso was 61 - 39 so I should have 39 points for the loss instead of 22. And Rogerbosso would have (120 - 39) 81 for the victory.

Kroche (Scots 1040-1051) defeats pantherboy (Irish 1050-1130) 41 - 16

Scots lost 2 generals and Irish 1 in the first couple of rounds of melee. Scots pushed in the centre left where their heavy infantry ground down weaker kerns. Centre right was more even as Scottish spearmen gave as good as they got and passed most of cohesion checks. Battle ended at the right time as although Scots were still in a good position due to success of the heavy infantry, both their flanks were severely threatened by the Irish wings. GG

Polish's expansive fortifications were not very effective when some fools decide to go out.
Venetians keils put down many knights and pavoisiers, support by artillery and some very brave crossbowmen.
The right flank's venetians knights win the gold medal of the worst performance in history.

Division A

Kroche (Irish 1050-1130) defeats pantherboy (Scots 1040-1051)

46% loss to 62% loss

Irish tried to take big hill on the right, but were slapped back by a large Scottish force with the same intention. Battle was fought in two sections. Irish right survived initial setback while the left had enough numbers to gain flank attacks. Not much left for either side on the Irish right by the end, but Irish left did enough to force thw win. GG

Div B

Jtrillodmp (Castilian) draws with Lunecastle (Berber Hafsid)) 59-52.

It was a bitterly fought battle in which the Castilians were always in the lead but failed to secure a complete victory. The Berbers deployed their forces across a wide front, which favoured their more mobile units and made it difficult for the Castilian heavy cavalry to be as effective.

Division C

Solemnace's Irish 1050CE-1130CE defeats mcfcivo's Welsh(North) 1100CE-1295CE 47-14

The Irish placed their best troops on the right with the worst Kerns holding the centre with mostly regualr Irish foot on the left. The Welsh tried their best to break down the Irish centre and did manage some success in breaking Irish foot to the left of the Kerns. They also had some luck on the far left to break another Irish foot. However Picked Irish foot swarmed over the Welsh left cutting it to pieces supported by light foot and the swung into the centre to support the Kerns routing enough of the Welsh to force them from the field.

Division C

Solemnace's Welsh(North) 1100CE-1295CE defeats mcfcivo's Irish 1050CE-1130CE 40-15

The Irish deployed in a realtively compact formation while the Welsh went for a wider sweep with Longbowmen supporting Spearmen in the centre. The Irish did well in the centre breaking several Welsh Spearmen with flanking attacks but the Stronger Welsh flanks overwhelmed the Irish opposing them and broke them down enough to force the Irish from the field before they exploited their relative success in the centre.
