rpadilla1988 Crusader W/ Byzantine allies defeats cromlechi Polish W/ German allies 42-16
Crusaders found themselves outnumbered, with both armies facing each other on their respective, undulating hills. Though the Polish fielded more infantry, the Crusaders had the advantage in cav. Both armies stood at range and unleashed volley of arrow fire and bolts at each others lines, crumpling men and horses alike.. but with the mobility of the turcpoles and horse archers, the Crusaders were able to strike at the sides and pick at units. A tough fought battle!

Excellent game fought around a couple of hills. Turned into a battle of attrition but my opponent centre broke and this turned the game in my favour. Thanks for great game and sportsmanship. Cheers Adam

rpadilla Crusader W/ Byzantine allies defeats devoncop Order of St John 53-27
Battle lines were drawn and lapped, to the right was woodland and up the ways a hill that the Order controlled with skirmishers, massed archers and crossbows. The Crusaders brought a sizeable force from the south and pressed to take the hill.. up to the center of the field was another lone hill adjacent to the contested high ground to the right.. at the foot of the hill lay a small town. The Crusaders pressed forward from there and pivot left of the town and with pavisiers and crossbows. Battle occurred on all fronts; the Crusader cav focused on the left and juked and jived, doing damage but taking damage. That small town will have nightmares haunting them for a bit. Both sides left there blood and will on the field; but for sure the Crusaders are more than happy to let bygones be and end this civil silliness.. We've a Holy Land to conquer!

Lunecastle (Aragonese) beats Harveylh (Berber) 61-58
They do not come much closer than this. Everything started pretty even, but then Harvylh started to wear my troops down.
Luckily for me, they held for just long enough for support to arrive. The last two points for Harveylh remained elusive and I started to claw back the points. Fighting was in woods, hills, streams and the open. I just scraped by. Thanks to my
opponent for a great game.

A battlefield divided by a stream and with lots of rough ground provided an excellent playground for the Lithuanians with a host of dismounted bow armed cavalry. We both brought flanking cavalry despite springing a great ambush at one point my Portuguese found it very hard going. Victory was so marginal it could have been down to any number of heroic actions. Another turn would have seen my remaining troops utterly destroyed but they just clinched it. Great game!

A battle of attrition in the open. Just managed to prevail after losing a more comfortable cushion in the last few turns, which had me sweating a bit.
