First, please accept my humblest apologies for the delay in posting these results. Life has been busy both on and off the Medieval Field of Glory.

Second, my challenges are now all complete, with the following results:

Home games with the Swedish 1320 versus Ironclad's choice of English were 44-10 and 60-37 in my favour, and versus Indibil's Polish were 62-29 and 69-46, again in my favour. I picked the Swedes partly to give opponents lots of choices for their armies, and partly because it would be simple to select the army (only 4 unit types). On the other hand, the lack of any medium infantry or light troops of any type means they are extremely difficult to play! They would definitely benefit from some allies that could supply the missing troops types.

I choose Bohemians to visit mberisso's Polish 1455, mostly so we could each have fun with War Wagons, and won both sides of the mirror [49-6 and 60-42].

I ended up using another Swedish army (but a different time period) against IMC's English (Contintntal) 1415, and once again was victorious in both sides of the mirror [62-37 and 60-41].

Brenmusik. French 1484-1500 defeats wzfens. Scots (Britain) 1450-1500 55% to 61%

I'm truly shocked and embarrassed by my win. Trailing until the last couple of turns and doing everything wrong, the RNG Gods took pity and I crossed the line first. Poor wzfens was almost lost for words, seeing the win slip away.

Brenmusik. Norwegian 1050-1154 defeats GeneralKostas. Norman 1041-1071 54% to 61%

The Norman foot crumbled just before their cavalry arrived to send me packing.

That concludes my medieval games Looking forward to another season, where I feel sure I'll get my challenges right.. first time!

Kroche Syrian States defeats Triarii Crusader 23-52

Open stream across the middle offered some protection vs cavalry - Crusaders had some massed archers protecting their right, using enclosures for some protection. Crusaders crossed the stream in the centre - a few heavy foot and a couple of mounted knight units crossed over, backed by numerous crossbowmen who held line of the stream. Crusader line was badly compromised when a defensive spear disrupted after catching a light horse in a pursuit. Crusader strength was starting to tell in the centre, but the Syrian State forces held in multiple unfavoured melees and the Syrian State left got the better of the Crusader right through missile fire on the massed archers followed by successful charges by mounted units. The defeat of the Crusader right holding the enclosures enabled the Syrian States to reinforce their centre before the Crusader forces could break through. GG
