I now have set up the challenge match for Ancients, choosing:
Chris Townsend Graeco-Bactrian 250 BC v. EdmondDantes Indian 500 BC.
Most of the potential opponents have a mix of Indian/steppe troops and Greeks, and I thought the Graeco-Bactrians had one of the more interesting mixes.
