Trogdor666 completes a comprehensive victory over this division. Faultless run of 9 wins was very impressive and no doubt he should be playing at a higher level. keksoid would have won most divisions with a 7-1-1 record so deserves a special mention. ggarynorman (7-2) also had a huge season to finish 3rd. Arthurius and Giugurta as new players did very well and no doubt will improve on their great first season. Indibil finding success with a winning record pipped Hennor by 1 point. Asterix_von_TWC, not far behind, just needed to convert some close defeats into wins for a much better record. ipod732 lost interest a bit after losing his first few, but Meroka37 deserves an extra special mention for sticking it out with an army heavy in irregular foot ( I imagine cohesion drop contagion ruined some of the carefully crafted attack plans)!

Again, well done to all who took part. Hope to see you in TDC VI.

Here are the final standings.

In division 1, despite losing their head-to-head match and one more overall, TaBai edged out tyronec by a mere 3 points in a photo finish.

In division 2, random27, with a single loss, finished 27 pts ahead of Hari72, who lost twice.

In division 3, anderarcos11 cruised to victory with 9 straight wins, well clear of the rest of the field.

In division 4, Ironclad finished a comfortable 60 pts ahead of keksoid.

TDC5 FINAL STANDINGS April 2nd, 2024

Starting with Division D, fogman was the best player and won. There was a relatively close race for second between mberisso and JacobusRobertus.

Division C was a blowout with anderarcos11 winning easily. anderarcos11 definitely deserves a promotion to Division B. This was the most dominant performance in Late Medieval. Jtrillodmp, ulysisgrunt, and heidipie had a close battle for second place.

Division B was another blowout with random27 easily winning the division. Random27 deserves a promotion to Division A. Bagatrix1805, Morat and paulmcneil battled for second.

Division A was very close and while harveylh won the division he did lose the head-to-head with tyronec who finished second. ericdoman1 would probably have been in the running but had to withdraw after being hospitalized. Here’s hoping he returns for TDC6. harveylh only defeated ericdoman1 by a 60-55 score. CheAhn also was in the running by beating tyronec but losing to harveylh, 42-17. Otherwise, CheAhn probably would have won Division A. Nosy_Rat and pantherboy both deserve kudos for running armies that were somewhat less than competitive, Swiss and Hussite respectively, but fighting for third place.

So here they are the final tables.

Div A was a run away win for Tyronec who was undefeated with his dastardly Umayyad army. Second was close between Aetius39 and Rafydedel and Kroche a highly respectable 4th.

Div B saw another undefeated run away winner with Random27 who had the highest score in any division. I for one will be looking closely at the Naverese army for next season! Triarii came a very descent 2nd and Cherebuschka completed the podium in 3rd

Div C was close with Nosferatu pipping anderarcos11 by 27 points. Garokan beat the other challengers to 3rd with less than 100 points between 3rd and 6th

Div D was the closest of all with only 26 points separating the top 3 and only a single point between the eventual winner nonovitch and the worthy second place of Asterix_von_TWC. RAZIDE noble effort left him in a comfortable 3rd place. It goes to show that every point counts, even in a loss – nonvitch won the fewest games of the top three.

Well played all. I would note that there were a few unfinished games – please, if you join can you try to make every effort to complete the games. We all know that real life can get in the way, but If you are having issues please feel free to let you the organiser and the other players informed.

Congratulations to FireknightBarcelona who had a great second half to the season
Good scoring in all his matches enabled a top place finish ahead of Triarii who only lost 1 match. Deeter could have done with a couple more turns in his unfinished match (I think drew vs Triarii went 24 turns) to finish 3rd, but was pipped by Najanaja. A solid mid table was headed by angusosborne in 5th, again scoring well when getting beat to finish above random27,oscarius and tmac11 who each had 1 more win. frederic02 had a similar record but a bit behind in 8th and lydianed finished with 2 draws when needing wins to get off 9th place.

Well done to Rosedelio who quite rightly wanted the final table up! tyronec, LuciusSulla, markleslie and klayeckles close behind with excellent performances with 6 wins each. Aetius39 an even 4-1-4 record marginally behind the top players this time. CheAhn and Stones1985 a little behind. Only win listed for Kroche is a default win vs Eric, proving that it is impossible for anyone to both record scores for an era and be a competitive force in that era at the same time.

This table includes default wins vs Eric for 6 players. Recorded results for Eric are victories vs Rosedelio and LuciusSulla and a loss vs tyronec - so the default victories did not affect the top 3 placings which were filled by the 3 mentioned.

All games in all Divisions are now completed or default results awarded.
As only two games had been completed by Trogodor before his withdrawal these two results and all other originally intended games are made void.
Incomplete games for other withdrawals have now been confirmed scored as 40-15 default losses

Particular mention for the close competion in Division C where Champion ThatUglyGuy and Runner-up cnzmur are separated by only a 30 point difference in total losses suffered. The 258 net loss for ThatUglyGuy being enough to beat cnzmur's 288 net loss on a first points tied division.

rafydedel wins flawlessly with 8 victories from 8 games, but I would also like to congratulate alexhstandish, who started as the lowest ranked player in the division. Possibly Alex is quite good. Well done to all.

mh5604 finishes with the same record as Vakarr, but wins comfortably, mainly due two losses scoring very highly (including losing to Vakarr). A reward for aggressive play.

keksoid's games have been voided. The game between wzfcns and ggarynorman has not been reported, but will not change the top four places.

Eric took the gold with 8-1 record, but both CaptSavage and Kroche were close on his heels, within 20 odd points, so a close finish.
