Division B
angusosborne defeats Ray552 65-54
I tried something reasonably experimental (for me) in both battles of this mirror tie. Going all mounted and doing a big redeployment didn't work in the other game, but hiding my whole army kind of worked in this one. For a while it looked like I would have quite a decisive win in this one, but when my infantry crashed down on Ray552s right flank a couple of his units stood strong and held the edge, while my weak right flank collapsed swiftly, but it eventually did go my way. Good battles

Division A
Kroche (Di 200BC - 303AD) defeats markleslie (Chinese (Three Kingdoms - Shu) 221-263AD) 42% loss to 60% loss.
Chinese dented and then repelled the Di attack on the right wing, chasing down some cavalry and decimating the tribal spear support. Di centre fared better with tribal spearmen supported by archers. Di won in the centre and some of their units escaped the failed attack to prevent Chinese from matching their score. GG
Kroche (Chinese (Three Kingdoms - Shu) 221-263AD) defeats markleslie (Di 200BC - 303AD) 49% loss to 60% loss.
Chinese got off to a good start, causing casualties with artillery and mounted bowmen. Centre line had a good position on a slight hill. The left was open ground and the Di closed the gap to engage the Chinese. Chinese looked good in the centre but Di cavalry got through the lines to create havoc with flanking charges, the Chinese centre was demolished through mounted units to their left and right. Scores were very even with multiple disrupts and who was favourite to win was changing with each turn. Chinese had more forces on their left to defeat their opponents and the Di forces in the centre could not get across in time to help. If the Di rallied 1 unit at the end that would have given them time to end any resistance in the centre and probably win the match. GG
