Lennard (Irish (Bruce) 1315-1318AD) defeats Kroche (English 1272-1319AD) 50%-60% // 70-50

The Irish advanced quickly on all flanks, screening their superior melee units with a line of light javelineeners from English longbow fire. Once the forces made contact, the Irish made good progress in the centre and on the right, while English Knights absolutely crushed their left flank. This flank was mostly manned by Kerns supported by some javelin horse, which made them extremely vulnerable. Luckily the English Knights pursued for some time and were also further hindered and delayed by the now retreated skirmishers. On the right the Irish managed to rout the English after some time. While this happened the centre broke down for both sides and reinforcements started to pour in from both flanks, creating a large brawl in the centre, which could have easily gone either way. But in the end the Irish could claim victory.

Overall a fun but also very wild battle. Thanks to my opponent and well played!

Division D

edb1815 (Polish 1455-1500) defeated IMC (Ottoman 1455-1500) 62%-53% Score = 67 to 53.

For this mirror the Poles brought mostly a mounted force with a small wing of infantry supported by a war wagon. This resulted in a swirling cavalry battle on one side of the map which was on a coastline. It was clear the battle was going back and forth with a first to 60% race. The winning move came when the Polish infantry backed by knights attacked and routed a force of Ottoman janissaries and bowmen. Either side could have won this game. Well played by IMC.

Division E

dragmio (German SE) won over Indibil (German NW) 64-59. Score: 61-59.

As the score suggests, I in fact eeked out a victory, managing the most unlikely of turnovers. I lost on both wings, which usually means defeat, but somehow this time a victory in the center was just enough.
