OK, EGL 1240 AD is likely to kick off once the Digital League Knock-Out Tournament is completed, but we'll see: maybe it could be a bit earlier than that. Would be nice to get the appropriate armies of the Reconquista DLC (if any) in here as well (will there be any armies covering 1240 AD?).

I presume you will allow players to switch armies if desired after Reconquista is released.

So with the Swords & Scimitars DLC released, I'm checking the interest to kick of a 1240 AD Ever-Green League section for Field of Glory II: Medieval. (The alternative is the revival of the 900 AD section in Field of Glory II: Ancients, but it will depend on the relative interest in the two alternatives.)

Rules are basically: players start out with an army of his choice, but after each concluded game switches his army with that of his opponent, thus getting another to play with in the next game. Players challenge each other (challenges always to be accepted) if within three places in the table, with the challenger getting the option to bring allies (from the base game list and if covering 1240 AD) with his main army. Games to be concluded within a month, and with a friendly and constructive approach to both chat and gameplay. Draws and losses are rewarded equally, at zero points, hopefully in order to produce more fun and active games.

You need to select a starting army from among the ones above, i.e., an army covering 1240 AD.

So please feel free to challenging another player, unless you're already in another challenge or game, up to 3 places above or below you in the table. The challenger can bring allies (if the allies' army list covers the year 1240 AD), whereas the challenged player cannot. The winner gets 1 point, the loser or drawer zero. After the game, the two players always switch armies, so that a player in the next game plays with the army that he fought against in the game before.
