Link in the first post (UnitsClassIcons_1.00)
Places the file "Units" in the game directory where indicated and play. You can always delete the file "Units" afterwards.
You can download the units icons in
The Unit Navigator Tool and use the masks to create new images (only a few images were made while playing Red Star)

Have you also modified the open terrain?
The grass is so green and it looks much better than in the official game
Farmlands also look different, better

Yes, open terrain = grass.
I have modified: grass, sand, moutain, farmland, rocks & swamp.
There are terrain textures that are mixtures of basic textures:
- Mountain = mountain + rocks + sand
- Shallow Water = sea(no specific texture) + sand

Are you planning to do more of those terrain textures (tests)? Either way, please do not delete the older ones and if possible, could I use some of them in the KoreanWar mod? I think the "high grass" terrain would look amazing with your texture.
...and maybe the farmland texture for my own mod?
PS: IMO the desert looks a bit unsettled/fidgety; it's nice, but too much and distracting. Maybe with a lesser "dune-density"?
PPS: The "pebbled" beach was a neat idea, looks good.

Please make sure that any modded terrain is also usable in winter/wet/arid when applicable.

I've only checked winter as I have a Korean mini-campaign or two that takes place both in default and winter.
New terrain works, but may look odd in winter as there will be spots of summer terrain.
