Based on one of the unique and very good icons released by Flakfernrohr, here is a T-44-85 soviet tank... A very intreresting, VERY late war unit...Please, look at the fine detail in the road wheels, exquisite!! All credits due to Flak!

Just an announcement: I re-made the Autocannone 3Ro da 100/17 icon, with the gun (more accurately) pointing backwards. For the ones who like it, you can download it from the original posting (go some posts up) which have been edited and its files replaced.
Best wishes to all! :-)

LOL, Those crazy Italians are always doing something like that, firing backwards instead of forward, inventing spaghetti and playing Dean Martin songs in English in their restaurants.

Very nice T-44/85. The T-34 and its further development were always my favourite red army tank models.

The T44-85 had better armor than the T34-85 and was quicker and more manuverable, actually a better tank. They wanted to up the gun in it to 100mm, but found it would not work with the turret.

An old workhorse revisited... Here is the Mercedes Benz L4500 4.5ton truck, in the open flatbed and canvas covered variants. For each one, you will find the five "normal" camo schemes of the Multipurpose icons thread (someday, it will be properly called a Mod). The flatbed version is ready to be modified by mounting any weapon...

This completes the previous release of this unit, which comprised just the standard grey color scheme, besides, the icons were slightly improved.
Enjoy!

Now, the Maultier version of the Mercedes Benz L4500, all the same versions, with base Icon and mask included...

Well, here is a unit that was uploaded previously, but now you have a new (better, in my opinion) version... The Semovente da 149/40, incuding German grey scheme and Italian Regular and SE unit camo. New base Icon and mask also in the pack... Enjoy!

This one is a very late, what if? unit, based on an excellent icon made by Churchklakecity, I made the PzKpfw E-50 compatible with the Elite Units Mod... Here is the complete pack, with the usual schemes, plus base icon and mask for the DCS software. Have Fun! :-)

As asked by Uhu, who is working in a Hungarian mod (go to see his thread about it, it looks impressive!), I made the icons for the 8.8cm Flak in AA and AT modes with Hungarian camo schemes.
Here is a pack with the skin provided by him, and also with two other new Hungarian camo schemes I found in the Internet. You have icons in all three schemes... May be someone with an interest in minor nations modding can have some use for this stuff.

Now, making a complete departure to what is the usually uploaded here...

There was a user who had the idea to make a "War of the worlds" mod for this game, and imagined some flying saucer units for the Martian invaders... So, I took the Cyberdisc from the classic X-Com game and turned it into a very original icon... Of course, all units are fictional, including the one with german markings and SS camo scheme! :-)

I have a very long term idea of making an Alien X-Com pack of units... and just wanted to test one of them. Maybe someone find this icons useful (some kind of Wunderwaffe?)...

Now, the big news!

From some time ago, I started a very positive e-mail exchange with forum member Asuser. This fellow is a very enthusiastic modder of PzCorps game. Besides being full of new, innovative ideas, he is very skilled in the use of GIMP software, and showed me some awesome work. We started to work on a very large project list together, and I am sure you will like the results of our cooperation. He gave me the OK to show the stuff we made (and what we will be making) as well as his own work. His main interest now, is focused on late war German units, as well as some "what if?" units.
He is from Germany and he is a very gentle person also. I am very glad that we started this partnership (and friendship) thanks to this marvellous forum!

Here is the first project we started together, the Lowe tank, he provided the base icon, and I just give some details to it, and made the unit pack from it, compatible with the Elite Units pack, as is usual in this thread.

Take a look, you will like it, I am sure!!
