Hello everyone.

I'm now officailly running the show and all you need do is carry on as normal while I try and sort out how to edit the first post with scores etc :? . Once I've done that and we have finished this season we can move right on into the next. What we do need to decide is what to do with the spot vacated by Keyth. My own feeling is that we recruit someone to be keyth 2.0 (no I won't be auctioning off his position to the highest bidder  ), I know hidde and ericdoman have both expressed an interst in joining. Just let me know what you think.

cheers

macsen (early Abbasids) 26/42 has defeated phlewis (Scary Byzantines) 34/30 also sacked his camp and killed a troop commander.

Pat bought an invicibe army to the field, made of knights and drunken scandanvians, all deployed on a field with little cover. All my cav went to the scrub and hills in one corner, all the infantry to the hills in the other. Unfortuately for Pat he ignored my infantry only leaving some horse archers and LF to watch them. So they sallied out, trapped andd killed the watchers and sacked the camp. Meanwhile the knights had a bad day charging up steep hills in the woods against lancers.

Thanks for a very entertaining fight.

cheers macsen

Ouch! My sincere apologies - to both you and The Lady of Lothlorien. I spelled it wrong here; it is in fact: Galadriel (which I assume is correct in the actual games as Tiavals has accepted the challenge).

On the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea , a civil war between 2 Dailami armies
ended marginally in victory for one while most of rest lay dead or dying.

iandavidsmith (Dailami) 28/29
defeated
phlewis(Dailami) 30/30

All Generals and camps intact.

very bloody game and fast game
only 6 turns , quickest i ever played.

Thanks for the game,
Cheers
Ian

I've started the new thread and imaginatively labelled it "To Tame a Land 2.0". See you all there.
