no for core units in deployment stage
You're right I forgot that. I barely ever did campaign modding so I'm not used to that. On stand-alone scenarios though, what I said works.
Or maybe there is other easiest way and I could not find it.
I don't know any other way to do this but it's not that difficult to implement, the hardest part being identifying the causes of the crash...
At beginning I just only wanted to played them(IJA and USMC), later I though just customized them for myself, later fix them and include new maps ... and right now my idea is to integrate them in current PC structure(base and expansions) as a complete game just copy and replace, using gc for IJA,ac for usmc, sc for URSS and ak for Commonwealth...every pacific expansion with corresponding features and look & feel.
so yes, someday(no deadline) I will try to finish and publish in slitherine, but for the moment finishing USMC and creating Olympic as new extra step after Okinawa.
Nice ! Some kind of Pacific Corps... It's very interesting, using Bebro's work as a basis is a plus for me : I'm not always receptive to DMP graphic style (they have some great tiles & units but some others are less eye-candy). That being said I am no artist either
Good luck with all this then and feel free to ask if need be, I'm really glad to help !
Cheers,

the same happened to me, I prefer bebro style.

It sound like a beta tester proposition

I will need if finally I can deliver a release.
Finished Olympic design, next new extra scenario will be Phippines Sea as option instead Saipan, showing some pics to receive feedback/suggestions about briefings style.

I honestly don't know whether I'll be available for such a thing as beta testing but if it turns out I have free time I would love to help !

Great ! Your briefings look amazing. The only thing I would add (and I'm not even sure if it's actually worth it) is some kind of border around the image. The sharp edge of the pic is maybe too much emphasized. Some thing like a blurring effect on the edges or a border like the one you have all around the briefing's tabs. So yes, read this more as a feddback rather than a suggestion
Otherwise it's perfect ! I really like the idea of adding new campaign paths, I think the original mod was a single linear campaign, wasn't it ?
Good luck !
Cheers,

I agree, border added, these are some images from IwoJima recent played and improved with sand terrain, triggers, messages...
Very nice !
If I can make another suggestion, maybe the sand tiles on Iwo Jima could be made black/deep grey or merely darker (volcanic sand).
Anyway keep it up ! Nice job on everything !

This looks really interesting. How do I install it on Steam?

The install instructions are on the first page of the thread. You will need to use Generic Mod Enabler (also called GME or JSGME).
In case you're not familiar with GME:

Hope this helps.

I've always wanted to get into modded content for this game, but I guess I'm just not smart enough to partake. Every few years I spend 3 hours trying to get one to work and give up and go back to replaying the standard campaigns. It's a shame because this USMC campaign looks fantastic.
According the GME the mod is active, but it does not appear under the More Campaigns button. Back into the "too hard" box I guess.

Did you follow the instructions in the first post on the first page of this thread? That's what I did and I had no issues playing USMC.
You are right, there are many excellent mods that offer extra content for the game. There are some that can be a bit awkward to install, but most are straightforward. As you say, it's a shame if you can't play them. Have you tried any that don't require GME?

for some precisions: the campaign is in "custom campaigns" (bottom right of menu) under the name: " globle anchor: USMC" . so don't search title like "usmc"

Hello, bebro. I am making a custom equipment database for Panzer Corps that anybody can use to create campaigns and scenarios...
https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=111941
It pretends to be a complete equipment database of World War 2 but I lack USN, USMC and japanese unit icons. I have taken a look at the unit factory but there aren't these Pacific Ocean units.
https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30004
I have seen those of zombiehunter77...
https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewto ... 47&t=27244
but I don't like them very much because they look more like 3D icons. I like yours more than those.
https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30004
I would like to include your marvellous unit icons (Corsair, Hellcat, Zero...). Can I use your unit icons? Thanks.

Hello all,
when i load the campaign, the map starts loading but then the game crashes. is there any reason this happens?
