nikivdd, any plans to add railroads? I haven't been able to use railguns except for Sevastopol. I know how time consuming it can be - I added a rail system to Mannock's Sevastopol and had to lie down when I was done. Haven't done it since.
Also, you released a version of your campaign with a custom e-file a while back that looks interesting. However, there's no link. I'd like to try out some of those units. Are the offsets for the Sdkfz 30cm Nebeltrack and the Sdkfz Pak-track the same as the regular transport versions?

Adding some railroads takes as long as roads. If i can improve the game by adding railroads to every map, why not. So, consider it done for the next update.
The version with the custom efile has been abandoned but gave me a truckload of information and experience. Custom units are great but most of them didnt really blend in visually. Only afew of them survived and were added to ss-gtpg v0.1.
I will check if i still have it somewhere tonight.

This latest addition to the campaign is fantastic! I am sad that there is not more but I know how much you put into this effort.
Wish there was a GTPG 8 ~ idea: the German sphere of influence collides with the Rising Sun in South Asia (India & Pakistan) and High command discovers the pesky Ruskies are stirring the pot so to speak. Somebody needs to be punished...

Well, there is now the v0.1 with all the packs combined. First i had no intention to do this but the most common problem i heard either here or on the matrix board was the core transfer from one pack to the other not working.
The single campaign tree version solves this frustration.
As you probably read i started to work on v1.0 with the sole intention to inject the campaign tree with more scenario's. I am rebuilding the campaign tree where new scenario's are introduced and do the necessary portion of playtesting.
As usual i post my progress reports, and the new scenario's are being revealed when i start working on them. V0.1 has 50 scenario's (if i can still count), and scenario 51 is already put in place - the new opener Madrid. Simultaneously i am updating all the existing maps with railroads - for 4key and everybody else who wants to benefit - and make sure that each scenario has train transport slots. Also i might change some (minor) things in the original 50 scenario's if it would be required.
I have a kind of a blueprint of how i'll proceed.
1) GTPG v1.0
2) SS-GTPG v1.0
3) Work on the first
expansion for GTPG v1.0 or do SS-GTPG v2.0 (haven't decided yet).
Your excellent idea for an expansion has been noted.

Scenario 53: Narvik.
After Poland you will get the choice between taking command of the entire operation in Norway or just a small portion of it, namely Narvik.

I love that you're adding more scenarios to an already excellent campaign. Might I recommend, though, that you make some of these scenarios "bonus" in the sense that they are only possible w/ stellar performances (i.e. DV-only)? I think Sweden would be an excellent candidate for this (it could be presented as a potential opportunity if the Germans were able to achieve their objectives in Norway far ahead of schedule). In addition, this would allow the player the option for both "historical" and "ahistorical" possibilities while playing through the campaign.
What do you think?

The idea came to my mind from a game i played long time ago, High Command 39-45. After i took Norway, i always went for Sweden.
I will adjust the campaign branch that only by achieving a DV in Norway allows for Sweden (not Narvik). I put Narvik in there for those players that are really having a hard time with Norway and couldn't achieve a MV. It also proves how important feedback is. I will post an update of the little flowchart this evening. Thank you for your excellent input.

BTW, that wasn't very unrealistic and unhistorical. We were on the verge of being invaded by Spain and also by Germany.

I've heard of Felix before,,but I didn't know of Canaris's involvement. My opinion of Canaris just went up a couple of notches.
