Shawkhan2's Macedonians had a draw result with edb1815's Achaemenid Persians. 17% to 30%

The map gave the Persians a huge hill covered with rough terrain and surrounded by difficult slopes in a corner . Outflanking the position proved impossible. An ancient general fighting under such conditions should have been crucified.

Shawkhan2 did make a valient attempt to outflank the hill with light troops, cavalry and some pike, forcing a fight in the plain behind the hill but in the end time ran out with all the manuvering to get there. Not ideal terrain for a pike army to say the least. Good game.

my cav defeating his cav and the elephants cleaning up the infantry with flanking cav support.

The other game still in play but getting closer to a decision, so far his light cav have used flanking to rout my missile troops from the board and his cav are routing my foot, it was no losses to him till this turn when my cav and infantry managed to pin some of them long enough to rout some despite being flank charged.
