Ok,
It is official. My first loss is in the Low Countries.
Rishat seized all objectives by Round 16 and I seized all objectives by Round 22.
Rishat is a strong player and will be playing someone in Round 4, France who has not lost a match.
I, however will be playing someone with at least one loss, so beware.
It was fun and I am thoroughly enjoying this Tournament. Thanks for all the participation!

Thank you for an interesting game!
You are a very strong opponent too! Before that, in this scenario, I won everyone for both sides. This is my first defeat in the Low Countries for the side of the Allies.

Hmm, was away on an extended weekend with the family and see I’ve been eliminated.
10 hour warning seems a bit harsh and maybe it should have just counted as a loss. I mean ppl do have jobs and families besidd this.
Gl to all.

Gentleman,
My wife just gave me some depressing news.
Our personal computer blew up, like threw sparks, and almost started a fire in our house.
So what this means is I will be buying a new/possible refurbished computer tower, but I may be off line and unable to send out email confirmations or respond to email, for a little while.
The bigger thing that just might make me sob, not really, but seriously pisses me off. I believe I have lost all my saved games on Manstein, Guderian, Field Marshall, everything for single player.
So please be patient while we get this figured out and reset.
I hope you are all deep into your battle of the Low Countries and enjoying the preparation for Round 4 France...
Just so everybody is fully prepared we will be going straight from France to Greece for Round 5. No Sea Lion. The vote was pretty overwhelming to skip Sea Lion, so your leader
will listen to his General's. (Much like another leader.
)
I will send out a group email once I am back up and running, but until then...Stay Lutheran My Friends.

Sorry to hear that. But don't get set back because of single player savegames. Probably everybody who plays videogames knows the feeling... ey... I was pissed off when I noticed my SNES records on the cartridges started vanishing.
But in the bigger picture (I'm talking the really small bigger picture of a video game)... it doesn't really matter. It's not like you load up all those savegames and rejoice when doing so anyway. It's just a negative sidenote. Your biggest achievement in this game is organizing this tournament. Far better.
Backup is the lecture. I "learned" it several times... and as we speak I think of all the more important things like footage of my kids which I haven't done a backup off... Hope you learn faster.
Oh.. and no burned down houses during tournament season... that's also a nice sidenote.

Hi All
Does anyone have any problems with finishing your turn? Cause when I finish mine and PC starts uploading data I get that weird "Failed to connect to server. Please check your Internet connection.". Weird because I can do everything else (including posting this

. Don't really know what to do. I already reboot Windows. And this is my 3rd attempt to finish the turn. It should look like I'm cheating , even so it is my last turn before win.... Yeah this is most frustrating part, I'm winning and I just need this one turn.
UPDATE 3/19/2018 :
Seems it all fixed by itself.

Early (unofficial) result. StahlRat has won as Axis vs. HowlingEmpath allies. I made him work to the late turns, but could not hold out. In our other game, as I advanced as the Germans, he absolutely punished me in the North, killing units and pushing me back to a defensive posture behind the Meuse river. In the south he has held Sedan the entire game. Only through some creative German airborne/scout moves behind Allied lines put me in possession of Abbeville, Lille, and Calais - has the game even been close, otherwise StahlRat has dominated me the entire match, it is inevitable that he wins both sides of our match. So the pressure is on for me not to lose my next match...

I really enjoyed the game, I played for allies vs AI only once before our game and that attack on the North was tried against AI first. I just want to tell you that AI didn't have even a single chance I've finished with it somewhere around turn 15

. But you... when you dropped your para and started taking those cities I thought that my plan might actually fail. Good game.

Results: sn0wball * vs Muwattali *
I won both games, taking the last French victory hex during Turn 22 as the Axis, delaying the Germans until turn 25 as the Allies, with two victory hexes staying in French hands.
These were some of the most exciting games I ever played in MP. We had two long, drawn out, fierce and gruesome battles over the very first line of defense, which cost both sides countless units. I had much fun in smuggling Belgian infantry through the Ardennes to mess behind German lines. Maybe that bought me a couple of turns.
