The Senate receives the news from Sicily in the Roman manner and orders a renewed attack on Trinacria. Thus does Rome demonstrate its total resolve.

Ashoka the Great, beloved by the Gods and Father of his population, rejoices at the news that the folks of Drangiana, with the help of pious Indian monks teaching the doctrines of the Buddha disguised as warriors, have been freed from the blasphemous rule of the hellenistic Seleucid kingdom.

May peace and love now reign forever in this happy and newly independent province!

Let him come, the hills of Paphlagonia will prove to be the graveyard of the Seleucid army! Many will be the mothers crying in anguish at their king's policy of unwarranted agression!

News have reached the capital of the Mauryan Empire that the caravan of warrior monks and wise men sent to free the unhappy people of Gedrosia, that lied in the darkness of iniquity and ignorance, was welcomed even by the soldiers of the previous rulers, who deserted their sacrilegious masters and greeted the newcomers with joy surrendering to them after a brief encounter!

So a new province has been added to the Empire thanks to the help of the benevolent Gods.

The latest invasion of Cappadocia had achieved the best result yet - 40% to 17% and we were almost ready to ring out the victory bells when the loss of a pike phalanx and another unit took us over 25% losses, the Cappadocian scum are now at 47% and we are still winning but it's going to be a tough battle!!!

The pious Emperor of the Mauryans, counseled by the all-knowing Gods, has turned his benevolent eyes to the province of Drangiana, where many followers of the teachings of the Buddha have recently been harassed and persecuted by unjust rulers.

A caravan of wise and pious monks is now heading towards that province in order to restore peace and serenity in that torned land.
