Razz: Yes, this is the icon I have been using also, but I did not like very much the use of a soviet gun icon for an italian one, so I decided to make my own... The stock game also used a recolored 8,8 cm Flak instead of a 90 mm italian gun (I dont like very much the use of "generic" icons...) :-)

Here is an original work: The IS-3 soviet tank. It was hardly a WWII unit (it is not clear if some of them actually saw combat against the germans), but it may be useful for some fictional or post WWII end scenarios/campaigns. The pack includes base icon and mask for DCS software ands also are the units with the SE units camo schemes designed by Bebro for his upcoming Inferno Mod...
This unit was made using as a base a good image from a model tank found in the internet. I hope you like it...
Flakfernrohr also made an IS-3 icon, but he went a step forward and made also icons for the IS-4 tank, so you have where to choose from! :-)

Good to hear about that. :)

Actually I'm satisfied with the vanilla Semovente 75/18 (+AT) and some modded Semovente 75/34, 75/46, 105/25 icons but if you make new ones which looks more beautiful to me than of course I will implement them too (with your kindly permit of course ). :)

Could you make it please a little smaller (about the same size as the vanilla Opel Blitz)? And if some additional shadows could be done also than all Italian Bersaglieri would be happy.
I would use the green, closed one.
guille1434 wrote:And now, another truch which was missing from this fabulous game... The Lancia 3RO 4x2 6.5 ton heavy truck. Used by the Italians in the war as a transport, and also as a basis for some very interesting self-propelled weapons... (Hint of what is about to come!). I include a green colored icon, a desert colored one, a SE desert camouflaged icon, those in open flatbed and canvas covered variants. Also the base icon and mask for the DCS program. Enjoy!!

Uhu: Could you explain you request a little more? It is clear about a smaller Lancia 3RO truck (but, ideed, this truck was bigger than the Opel Blitz, wich was a 3 tonner, against 6,5 ton of the 3RO). I don't get your request about shadows and Bersaglieri... The Bersaglieri Icon need shadows to be added?

About the icons in this thread: They are always permitted to be used by any moder/gamer of PzCorps, so I don't need to be explicit about givin permisions, you just download it and use it as you see fit!! :-)

I ask some shadows for the Lancia. The Bersaglieri theme was a joke - or at least I tried to smuggle some humor in my gratitude. :D

A self propelled unit based on the Lancia 3RO, the Autocannone 3RO da 100/17... Here we have some sources conflincting... By the photos I found the gun is mounted somewhat to the forward part of the truck cargo bed (as the icon I made), but other references (a profile drawn in a Squadron Signal Book) puts the gun more to the rear, more or less aligned with the rear axle... May be it was the case that being a conversion, the gun was mounted in different position in each individual vehicle. Anyway, here is some images and an Icon sample.

PS: Uploaded the new, modified icons with gun pointing backwards.

Is that the way you actually want to fire?
May I suggest having the gun face the rear?

There is a new trait that uses these type of units. It is called backfire.

That way we do not have to create a separate icon as we did in the past.

You icon is correct, as the weight shift from the gun fire needs to be considered. Also, the weight of the gun for transportation is better suited to be positioned in the front.

It was an Italian weapon, of course. Didn't they fight a lot shooting behind themselves at whomever was pursuing them?

Ok, did not know about this new trait... Any quick indication about how this work? I will redo the icon, but this gun platform was capable of 360 degree firing (without the driver in position, of course) because of that, it had the drivers cab upper part cut off, but I think it is better suited to fire to the rear arc and sides...

Some more soviet "switching" units. The SU-152, including base icon and mask for the two modes, and the regular assortment of camo schemes.
Enjoy!

Some more Italian hardware... the Semovente da 90/53, made in direct fire and artillery modes... A very potent anti-tank self propelled gun, but suffered from very low ammo stowage capacity. I used on of this units in a battle of the testing of the LoV campaign, and was so effective, that I needed to make the icon available to the German core also! :-)
Included are base Icon and mask, and icons for Italian and German versions both in AT and artillery modes.
Have fun!

Just add the trait to the unit.

Graphic reverses direction.

The Go-229 (or Horten Ho-229) pack, including base icon and mask for DCS software, and the normal camo schemes assortment. Made the insignia more visible and touched up a bit the cockpit , basically...
Enjoy!

Straight from the Pacific General Armory, comes this icon, the 75 mm Coastal Battery...

Yes, this was only a "completness" work, because in my collection was missing the base icon and mask for one of the variants (now I don't remember if it was the AT or Aty), and of course, those excellent camo schemes are your creation! :-)
In my "to do" list is a "what if" derived unit from the SU-152, the SU-203! I found a good side profile and will try to make an Icon from it!
As always, feel free to use!!
