airbornemongo101: I did fix the SU-122, but not without alot of reading and asking about the problem. 1.05b saved hours++ of playtime too. I was about to go to Stalingrad in the DLC - can't think of a worse time for a freeze.

The Flammpanzer is glitch free and badass, just have to keep it away from the heavier armor out on pasture. I would need instructions on how to upload if you want to try it for yourself.

Little progress report.
I'm still working on San Francisco. Currently 7th playtest.
For the people who need an extra hand during this scenario i scripted a reinforcement trigger.
The screenshot shows which kind of units will appear the turn after you "parked" a ground unit on the hex marked with "A".

Another little progress report.
San Francisco is finally tested. It is a difficult one to balance because not all players are veterans or experts.

Image

I decided to update the "German torch" briefing. It is not a difficult mission but i build in a catch. You cannot afford to lose any of the american ground units.
It was awkward to have a small map with few units for a change.

Image

The north africa scenario map. I'm sure it looks extremely familiar with a difference...no desert tiles. There are no desert tiles in the vanilla game,so i have to use what's available.

Image

Same scenario. A few american units and a bunch of their ships to help you out in your mission.

Missions 1 to 7 are ready i hope. So that leaves 3 more to do.

Your scenarios are very demanding, nikivdd. Keep up the good work.

I have one quick question about the US East campaign. I have not played it yet, but I am curious to know if we get a crack at members of Congress, the Senate, Government Bureaucrats and Lobbyists entrenched in Washington?

IF we do, I am going to the cheat codes and increase the strength and initiative of ALL my units.

Lol.
I prefer to remain apolitical and use general terms only. Afteral this is a wargame. I dont think it would be appreciated to capture the president or general eisenhower.

I didn't say anything about capturing anyone, LOL! Especially Congress, the lobbyists and the bureaucrats. Eisenhower gets a free pass in my book.

Now you make me wish atomic mushrooms, weapons of mass destruction, a full NBQ set in the game. I won't be happy with destroying I want to disintegrate them.

GTPG7 update

It has been a fruitful evening. I had to restart the 9th scenario first for i made a mistake in a trigger. Anyway, the scenario is done for the upcoming release.
I have one more to go. First i was thinking of Iran but i changed that into the Persian Gulf. The map is 60x60 and possibly the largest of the campaign.
You'll be advancing from three sides. Two by land (your core and the Italians) and one by sea (the Americans). If i am satisfied, which i rarely am after one playtest, GTPG7 is only a matter of days.
After this release i will start revealing - bit by bit - the new scenario's that will make their debut in the Grand Campaign as i proceed in integrating and testing them into the new campaign tree.

Here is the scenario list again:

1) The Channel : you vs Free France/UK/USA
2) UK45a: you vs UK/USA
3) UK45b: you vs UK/USA
4) USA-East: you vs USA
5) USA-Mid: you vs USA
6) San Francisco: you vs USA
7) German Torch: you/USA vs USSR
8 ) North Africa: you/USA vs USSR
9) Middle East: you/USA vs USSR
10) Persian Gulf: you/USA/Italy vs USSR

Maybe you could use desert tiles from the folks over at DMP? I've never played their Afrika Korps, but as I recall from watching the demo, their desert terrain seemed to be fine quality.

Playing Liberate the 6th Army. Excellent.

Although i have great admiration for DMP and their exquisite mods i cannot possibly agree to their terms for the usage of their material. That doesn't mean that i don't understand them.
I will just wait until the vanilla game has them. But thanks anyway for the suggestion.

Downloaded, just in case my internet won't work at the same time I get to it.

BTW, my custom E-file works fine with this. No problems with AI, besides that it's a bastard.
