Losses:
Kappadokia - 5017/45500 (0/41)
Covenant - 9547/26500 (28/28 )
This is the 2nd consecutive Kappadokian victory in Dessert Wastes, which presumably therefore falls to Kappadokia.
We would like to rename it "Desert Wastes".
I'm so glad you did that, I've been itching to rename it for ages.... but it wasn't for me to say how things should be spelt

The final 2 battles of the season for Clan Braveheart bring mixed results....
Attacking vs Revoltus in..[ahuyton, where are we fighting?]
VICTORY for attacking Clan (Pergamene)
Casualties 17,992/52,500 41/53
DEFEAT for defending Revoltus (Slaves)
Casualties 23,247/53,500 58/58
Revoltus has declared their intention to fight on, so our troops will remain in the field over the winter.....
Defeat for the clan in their invasion of the Roman province of Liguria
VICTORY for defending Romans (Republican)
Casualties 13,490/45,520 26/43
DEFEAT for attacking Clan (Pergamene)
Casualties 18,492/52,500 56/55
And the busy fall season comes to a close, leaving us time to prepare tall stories that exaggerate our accomplishments to impress our women back home.....

Wasteland goes to the Horde whilst we head home to supplicate the gods and discover what new blood sacrifices are required to turn our fortunes.

Good question, but you were the invidious invader
But we are cooperative and helpful enemies, so let's say 'Crossus'

Actually , it is incumbant on the defender to declare which territory he is defending befre the battle starts and PM the master of the maps (at this time Morbio) This is because some territories have cities , others dont!
Bloodletting in Mytilene

A sanguinary struggle amid the fields and ditches of Mytilene.
The forces of Tuam marching to the relief of the beseiged Delian Confederation met the Yorkist beseigers strongly posted in the rough fields and behind the irrigation ditches of Mytilene.
The stubborness of the Yorkist defence was incredible as were their losses but the price paid by the attacking Irish was too high for outright victory to be claimed.
Relieving Force Tuam Anglo-Irish
15366 casualties from 56000
56 AP broken from 55
Beseiging Force Kappodokians - Yorkist
23582 casualties out of 39000
40 AP broken from 34
Result Draw.
Thanks very much to RBS for a great game and an object lesson in how to defend ditches - I am going the long way round next time.
Peter - how does this work now - I am all for going again but its winter and it was a relief effort.
That said there are not a great many Yorkists left in Mytilene!

A battle in Turnacum as the last leaves fell ;-
Tuam Anglo Irish attacking
11825 casualties from 55000
30 AP broken from 54
Canaan Free Company defending
21243 casualties from 52000
47 AP broken from 40
Win for Tuam
Does this mean another battle in spring or is Turnacum ceded to the Anglo-Irish kingdom of Tuam?
No outsatanding fall battles for Tuam now.

As usual my Free Company not only lose but do so with horrendous casualties.
No point in a second battle. It's yours.

if we both broke on same turn..isn't this a draw instead of a win? (I assume you reached break point before me:)
