Talking about combat vehicles and their improvisations, using captured weapons, etc... Here is an interesting document about British self-propelled AT vehicles, with very good illustrations for some rather unknown (to me, at least) vehicles, mounting "unusual" armament. Perfect for new icon-making projects... 8)

The source is the "Weapons and Warfare" site, which is full of interesting articles about everything related to that subjects, from any historical period (not just WWII).

Taking as a base the icon present in the Battlefield: Europe Mod, here is the Soviet 107 mm Gun M1910/30 with its direct fire mode "switch"... 8)

I don´t like very much the looks of the vanilla game icon for the 8,8 cm Flak and its derivations... Some day, I plan to try making a better one for this gun, one of the truly "wonder weapons" of the war. Meanwhile, here is what you requested. Have fun!
