Both armies stood furious, with veteran troops and elite cavalry, and it was the byzantine loyalists that were lucky to prevail first on the eastern low grounds. Tagmatic horses and nomadic horse won the battle, and were able to turn west - to aid in a totally broken left.

Last Game for me and thankfully a victory - thanks to the Camels and the more flexible muslim riders the enemy cavalry was rooted. At the point the Swiss Keil and Pikes could start to chop down my Spear-Men the Cavelry was ready to push into their back. Good Game and Good Luck in the next ones

wellsonian (Roman/Numedian) defeats mcfcivo (Chinese Han) 40 -10. After getting a shower of arrows, I sent all the Legions in, and they were superior in close combat, even up the hill. It was a very fun game, so thanks to mcfcivo.

Closer battle than it seems that began with the Vikings losing the confrontation between light units and cavalry. However, the Vikings knew how to take advantage of their positions on two hills and behind a river, to break the Armenian positions with berserkers and huscarls.

On a battle field good for defense for both players, about 18 turns were dedicated for shooting. Last turns were brilliant once both armies went down from the hills to the center. During melee combats are all over the front, opponents camel lancer did excellent flanking, breaking about 4 my infantry troops.

Dragmio Armenian 885-1045 AD won over Fluidwill Byzantine 904-962 AD.
Result 43-6.

The Byzantines split their forces and the Armenians managed to take advantage of that.

Division B

lydianed (Jewish) defeated Bodhran (Samnites and Gauls) 68:40

The Jewish army anchored itself around a small wood and some rough ground and extended its lines, using the advantage of superior numbers. The Jewish lights did the usual job of softening up the enemy and blunting the effectiveness of the Samnite cavalry. The impacts were brutal on both sides but the Jews managed to force a couple of breaks in the Samnite line and then win some isolated battles. The Samnite general tried to get his cavalry around the wings and had he succeeded, the result would have been very different. Thanks to Bodhran for a great game.

Thanks to everyone else in B House. That's my last game of the tournament.

Ahead of the crusaders stood the Rajput host, arrayed with five elephants at intervals that covered medium foot fighters and massed archers. To the north east of the crusaders was a rough, low hill that was perfect for the main body of archers the Rajput held. Systematically the crusaders moved forward, taking hits but pressing forward, armored knights a step behind pavassiers and crossbowmen assaulting the high ground. When the crusaders reached the foot of the hill, from out the shadows of the hill came a wave of cavalry ready to flank the pressing crusaders, but to their luck the knights templar found a way forward into the main body of massed archers..chaos ensued. By the end the crusaders stood victorious, a great game Hari!
