Thankyou Sir Stephen, but we are contenting ourselves with our campfire songs at present.
Brave Sir Stephen ran away
Bravely, ran away...away...
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled
Yes, brave Sir Stephen turned about
And gallantly he chickened out
Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the brave, Sir Stephen

Oh Norman K-nigits.. your silly songs do not deter the troops of Brittany at all. If we happen to meet this Sir Stephen you like to sing about then we shall inform him of his yellow bellied disposition according to you.
As it happens we are a smarter than you silly running about yellow bellied lions on your coats of arms may have thought. We did not bravely run away as you are claiming but made an orderly and intelligent withdrawal to a stronger defensive position.
If you want we can look for some singing diseased toothless ladies of ill repute, I am sure there are still some about down here, unless your troops have taken them all away already.

He is packing it in and packing it up
And sneaking away and b$gg#ring off
And chickening out and p/$$ing off home,
Yes, bravely he is throwing in the sponge...

Not many enough, I say
Where are the cowardly Duke of Lorraine when you come knocking on his door?
Taking shelter with his Burgundy master, perhaps?
Pillage is a bleak substitute for glory on the battlefield.

ya well....somehow knew you'd do that...have already planned for your pillaging next season and after that...will see you somewhere up there soon enough...hope you brought extra body bags for your dudes...enjoy the cost of fielding an army while we lounge in the sun and sip wine down here

Is your bunkmate Flanders with you too?? Am hoping enough of his subjects in the west cry out for him to come save them from the French that he'll have to leave you all alone...mwhahahaha...
..not sure what we ever did to encure the wrath of Luxembourg...thought you're word of peace was honourable...we see now that Luxembourg has very little of that...well...we shall march north and teach you some...

From the Battle notes for summer:
"ANJOU
Normandy: The Duke of Normandy had only just begun the siege of Anjou when his forces were reinforced by a second army. To complicate matters, the Duke of Brittany sent a force to lift the siege and it arrived a few hours later and faces a combined force that vastly out numbers him. The Duke of Normandy has a DECISION, he can end the siege and retreat both armies, or fight. "
Who outnumbers who here? I read it as Brittany arrived and vastly outnumbers Normandy.

Sorry if that wasn't clear, Normandy has the numbers with two armies.

You are correct, we are enjoying the sunny lands and wine of Burgandy. Perhaps you fear a 5-1 advantage is not enough?

Scar:
Is the latest map accurate as far as location of armies? It shows one Normandy army at Anjou and another at Maine. But notes mentioned the one in Anjou being joined?

I hope you Norman type k-nigits look at that map, unless of course it is too far beyond your intellect to notice, but while you are messing about with all kinds of empty headed waste baskets on your skulls we clever French have occupied 2 of your territories behind your backs. So stick around and fight if you want to but you are running out of places to slink off to to get your fannies bandaged after the severe casualties you are about to receive.
PS are you sure your scouts have that many fingers and toes to give you an accurate count of my forces??
