I'm not quite sure because I can't see everything in the picture, but if you position your own ground unit between the two rivers, you lose, the area may not be entered for the time being.

Yes there on the scenario something again abstruse like defending bridges ) Such restrictions are a two-pronged stick ))

I don't understand the author's idea why I should stop and wait for something if the Chinese don't conduct offensive and counterattacks at all ? ) I wonder how many moves I have to stand passively at the bridges?

Ok, I need to rephrase that. I wrote that the player should deploy one unit per marker (A) to guard the bridges. The rest of the army has to fight forward. But with fewer units guarding the bridges, the player is missing in combat so you have to choose well which ones you can spare.

I have to say that I have toned down this mission a bit because it seemed too difficult to me and I have drastically reduced the counterattacks.

The victory conditions in the last mission are to keep all target hexes under control and 8 of the auxiliaries surrounded at the pass must survive.

Well there are a lot of enemies the more they move sometimes even capturing important points from which we cut them out we are a turtle stepping on the mountain serpentine under enemy attacks ) So the surviving general and his bodyguards, even if not all of them are already a victory ))))
