Once more gentlemen we thank you.
However for those of you who are only in 1 period and or think they can play in a different period, it'll be a great help if you could enter Early Medieval.
I believe we have 22 players now so a final push and we could have 3 divisions of 8 or maybe 3 divisions of 10.
Spread the word please.

Dailami 928-1055 Ad w Khorasanian allies 821-1003 AD

H and A
H - Great to have you joining in. What the heck took you so ruddy long:)
A I think you will need Reconquista and Swords and Scimitars, there was a sale at STeam not sure now though.
I'd recommend them both. You will really like the armies.
You entered some of the recent SLitherine tournaments and were able to play so it is possible
I just issued a challenge using time warp and 2 armies form DLCs you don't have pw = aetius. See if you can accept and deploy etc, then just resign.
You will need your opponent to issue challenges using time warp and to know what the composition of a lot of armies are. So early or late birthday present and just buy the DLCs:)
Again thanks very much to y'all.
Cheers
Eric

Hi Stew
I had sent an email to 2 guys asking if they could help us out with Early Medieval and I thought should I send one to you as well.
I didn't as I thought you'd not have the time.
Should have known better. Once an Armchair Hero, always an Armchair Hero:)
Guess what I just received an email from the Captain, he too will help us out. How good is that.
Cheers

TDC II - Dark Ages - Runners and Riders and Arranging matches

by ericdoman1
Thanks very much for entering the very first - The Divisional Championships I
We start on 6th July, it maybe sooner so keep track of this topic.
To confirm we expect all players to know and understand the rules and to accept them.
https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=107984
During the competition, please contact your opponent and the person running the period if you are going to be delayed. Failure to do so could lead to the game being claimed by your opponent and for you to be replaced by a reserve.
When issuing challenges please make sure you are using the correct format
For the Classical and Imperial, Early Dark Ages periods. Open, Potluck, 24 turns, 40W x 32H maps and 1600 points.
For the Dark Ages period, Open, Potluck, 24 turns, 36W x 32H maps and 1400 points.
For Early and Later Medieval, open, potluck, 24 turns, 32W x 32H maps and 1200 points.
Issuing challenges for Dark Ages are posted in this topic.
Example
Tomoegozen Byzantine 963 - 987 with Arab (Syria/Iraq) 890 -1008 allies challenges Zawzgrzyt Polish 966 - 1057 AD with Viking 900 - 1049 allies
Also sent as a private message
To make it easier for players to know they have received a challenge. Go to private messages, board preference, edit global settings and hit yes for everything. You will receive an email informing you of private messages and PBEM notifications.
This is not compulsory but:
It might be worth just posting “game started” on arranging matches topic. This would be a great help. Also adding the number of turns that have been played even if it's "5 turns" would also be great. This can be done on your original post.
Enjoy and have a "chat" with your opponent. You may have quite a lot in common.
Cheers
Keith (carpenkm)
Division A
Division B
Division C

A fantastic last rush of entries - thanks to all. We have 29 so i'm still happy to take one more to give us a nicely balanced 3 Divisions of 10. If not we will have a slightly smaller Division A.
I'll post out the Divisions and armies soon, but it looks like most people will get their first choice.
