I would ask McGuba, I don't know, how far do the Allies attack from Tunis to the east. Also he knows better the partisan activities.
I think the SU partisans are kind of random, even if you defeat the SU between turns 50 and 60, there are some that will show up later here and there.

Why is Tobruk still relevant?

I have some garrison units there I was thinking some of them to come back in Europe, to help. But do not know if any more attacks coming from Tunis
I understand this but is Tobruk still relevant for the outcome of your current match? I don't think so...

I find the ISU-122's, ISU 152's and SU-100's (and the 100mm AT) even more dreadful. :) The only easiness is, thay the first two types act many times as arty and they have less ammo.

Nice progress! It looks like your gamble is about to pay off. I think you have a good chance to defeat the SU just in time. But it will need some good coordination of your forces to capture the last objectives and they may still have a few nasty surprises waiting. Or perhaps not, I really don't know, it is because of the built in randomness of the mod. Your defense in the west looks strong enough now, I think besides that you only need to look after the partisan situation to make sure they cannot recapture a Soviet vicory objective in the last turns. Or if they do, make sure you can still take it back before the scenario ends.

Progress, been made under the cover of snow, it proves to be very good to advance without being noticed! We took some gambles on the way.
The objective was to cross a frozen Volga at Ulyanovsk and Saratov.
The first being achieved the second not, this nasty counter attack stop the attack on its tracks!

Right now my plan in the East is to hit Ulyanovsk and continue to Kuybyshev.
In the south take Saratov and drive north to close the last pocket of resistance by joining forces in Kuybyshev.

In the West keep on sending reinforcements, to block their advance in Seine and Loire rivers.
Do you thing is worth upgrading my star fighter from Afrika to Me 262?
I know is kind of overspending though, but it would be nice to have.
last turns partisans activity, I re distributing units constantly in the last few turns to cover objectives in the east.

We shall see how all this goes, but definitely the whole BE Mod experience is awesome, It will stick to my mind for many months to come.......

I am happy to see that it worked so far to contain the Allies in Normandy...

In spring, there will be more Allied planes again, of course... the risk of breakthroughs will increase... but most likely not until the Rhine anymore...
