A lot of results have come in over the last few days and the number of names on the Time Control list has reduced quite considerably. There are a few players who have not posted 3 results in each section that they have entered, but there is no-one who has posted 0 or 1 result, or who appears on the list twice. So there will be no further replacements and everyone may continue with their matches. Thanks to everyone who has made an extra effort in the last week or so to get matches done.

I have had a busy couple of days so I will update all the league tables in the usual Sunday round-up tomorrow.

Weekly round-up

Nosy_Rat (Pontics) posted the solitary victory in Division A this week to move up into second place. In Division B Aryaman (Lysimachids) scored an important win over second-placed pbuck777 (Pontics) and he remains the only player who is still able to catch the unbeaten leader, DzonVejn. Much will depend on the outcome of their match together. Nothing to report in Division C this week, but there was lots of activity in a very exciting Division D, where 2 wins for harveylh (Ptolemaics) has seen him overtake long-time leader RagnarOneTooth (Hannibal in Italy) and take the top position with 24 points from his 9 matches. Three other players still have a chance to win this division, Jakdaw (Romans) who can also reach 24 points and has beaten harveylh, Morbio (Syracusans) who can get to 25 points, and dkalenda (Seleucids) who has a win and a draw from just 2 starts. Tresantes (Bosporans) is relegated. Zardoz02 (Romans) has won Division E this week despite a defeat to IMC (Achaemenid Persians). Bluefin (Pyrrhics) can take second place with a victory in his last match against Okie (Seleucids).
