...And, another Li-2 bomber with a dark grey - green night camouflage...

I was trying a new "technique" for applying multi-tone camo schemes to icons using the layers function of the Paint.Net software. I think the results look promising.

Japanese "Tiger", or how to throw an ally for 645 thousand Reichsmarks
https://worldoftanks.ru/ru/news/history ... cumstance/
https://zen.yandex.ru/media/vartehnolog ... 00a9f45507
June 7, 1943. the Japanese Ambassador to Germany, General Oshima, arrived at the factory testing of the new German tank. He observed the attack of German " Tigers "on Soviet positions near Leningrad (admittedly, the tests were not very successful: from the hits of Soviet anti-tank guns, the" Tigers " often broke the transmission, and one tank was generally abandoned when stuck in a small swamp. As they say, the first pancake is a lump). After the Japanese arrived at the tank range of the company "Henschel", where the" Tigers " were factory tested. Soon the company received an order to transmit two sets of documents, re-recorded on microfilm. And in September 1943. there was already a question of sending one tank to Japan. It was supposed to be delivered together with one Panther (Panzerkampfwagen V" Panter"), also purchased by the Japanese, to Bordeaux, and from there disassembled - by submarine to Japan...
Cargo without prospects
At first, Germany was quite willing to respond to the request of the Axis allies. Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Oshima was invited to the site in Kummersdorf, showed the production of "Tigers" at the Henschel factories — in General, quite familiar with the product. The Ambassador was delighted and entered into negotiations with the German Ministry of armaments.
Two sets of technical documentation on microfilm were handed over to the Japanese in 1943. There was a question of purchasing the tank itself. The cost of the "Tiger" in the prices of 1943 was about 300 thousand Reichsmarks. The Ministry of armaments and the company "Henschel" asked for 645 thousand for the tank. The price is sky-high, but not the fact that the Germans decided to just cash in on overseas allies. First, the tank was sold fully equipped — with ammunition, optics and a radio station. Secondly, the Germans were ready to independently disassemble and pack the tank before sending it to Japan. Plus, apparently, this also included the cost of technical documentation.
"Tiger" wanted to take out about such a submarine project I-400zachem disassemble? Because the main difficulty was not the purchase itself, but the delivery of the Tiger to Japan. The idea of shipping on a surface ship was rejected immediately: it was too dangerous, the allies dominate the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. We decided to use a submarine. But here, too, was the question: which boat could withstand the huge, almost 30-ton hull? Underwater aircraft carriers capable of carrying such cargo were still under construction at the time. So it would be a long time before the Tiger could be in Japan. With the most optimistic forecasts, buyers had to count around December 44.
Nevertheless, the tank was sent to the French port of Bordeaux. In February 1944, the Japanese paid for the order, and the tank officially became their own. But it remained a dead weight with an uncertain future. And in the summer of 44, the allies landed in Normandy, putting Germany in a difficult position.
By the decision of the General command of the land forces of September 21, 1944, the Germans took the Japanese "Tiger" on lease (according to other sources — requisitioned) and transferred to the active army. So he was lost somewhere on the Western front.

Yes, that was the reason I used at first ( I began making Finnish units a long time ago) the rather unhistorical and not so camouflaged bluish/violet color for Finnish units, to give them "uniqueness"... Now, as I already have a complete set of Finnish infantry units ready in this gray color, it is late (for me at least) to think in another color option. What we can do, is to give Norwegian units a greenish-grey tone to its icons (bearing in mind that they fought for the Allies cause). So, roughly speaking, in the European theater, units in grey, bluish-grey tones are Axis, and green or greenish grey are Allied units...
Another unit for Finland´s forces is ready: The Schneider Cannon de 155 Mle.1917...

Uzbek: Romanian units are well represented in several of the already exitent PzCorps mods, so anyone can find plenty of unit icons for that country forces. Anyway, I suppose that some time I will make some units. But, in fact, as Finland´s troops had a much better combat performance compared to Hungarians, Romanians, etc... they are more interesting to me...
Now, tactical mobility for the Finnish...

Hello Intenso:
Here is a reworked version of the Finnish 45 mm AT gun M1937, which was called 45 Ptsk/37 by them...
About this new icons coloring, I have to say that I am not using any skins for them, I am applying color using the Paint.Net Hue/Saturation functions, and in case of the striped camo icons (like the barge trailer, for example) I "applied" such pattern using my "secret"

newly developed camo painting technique using the layer function of said software, Nevertheless, I upload here a small file with all the Finnish color skins archives I have for the DCS software. By the way, I started looking for alternate ways to color icons because the DCs sofware does not work well in my crappy old netbook (my main desktop PC went out of service some months ago)...
