Dreddradish Indian (Hindu north) 600 - 1049 CE defeats random27 Byzantin 600-649 + Sassanid Persian allies 56 - 30

Overwhelming Byzantine firepower won early gains against the mediocre Indian morale cracking the Indian advance on the right flank and threatening a general rout. This didn't last and with their ammunition spent and positions dispersed the opposing elephants found opportunities to join battle lifting lancer and bowman alike until the final victory.

Dreddradish ... Spanish (Sertorius) 80-70 defeats markleslie ... Jewish 64BC-6AD with Roman 105-25 Allies, 57 - 31

Both sides deployed to defensive hill positions revealing that the Jewish army had brought their elite legionary allies and elephants with a strong skirmisher contingent. Lacking any real counter to the Jewish heaviest units the Spanish started with a feint towards a prominent hill on the right. At a catastrophic cost in Spanish lights they did manage to draw the Jewish clients there stretching out their line and allowing an aggressive assault on the left before they could properly draw up a line. Fortune favoured the Spanish flanking attack and they were able to maintain momentum, rolling up each hastily prepared defense. While the veteran Romans were lethal when they made contact the relentless flanking by the Spanish prevented them from doing too much damage and with their ultimate destruction the Jewish army fled.

We had a deep river running across a nearly featureless plain. I thought I could hold one flank with light infantry and massed archers and attack on the other, but I kind of bungled my light infantry (or maybe it was a bad plan against a whole lot of mounted troops with bows) and they were wiped out, but the archers pretty much held on. Meanwhile the Egyptians had attempted to flee from my knight and heavier foot who ended up moving in a long curve from my right flank, along the enemy base line and back to the middle from their side, but we did managed to destroy the Egyptians foot on the way and catch enough cavalry to the get the win on the very last turn possible. Fun game.

Ozzy AC/DC? AKA Angusosborne leads the way but I am guessing it is only a matter of time before Hari72 takes over. At this moment Hari has an average of 93 points, not only is it the highest average in EM but I do believe it is the highest average in TDC II so massive respect.

Mr Cholo (Dailami with khorasan) defeats Triarii (German + Polish)

This was the most tough game I have for now in this league. The battlefield were two hills, both in front and its allowed archers shoots hill to hill. In the left side were a little forrest. I deploy my clavary archers in the left flank and archers and dailamies in the middle. They were supported by elephans and some bedoin calvary in the back.
Arrows made we advance between the hills and fight in the plane. My right flank was in problems while I could hold the possition in the centre and left thanks to support troops. Veteran dailami foot were very effective with two chargues. One of them descohessioned veteran lancers and the other made a push-back. This ovement allowed to made some flankings movement which gave me advantage in the centre despite of my right flank was destroyed. Finally I could toke advantage in the left flank and the centre.

Battle last 24 turns and my oponet have not rallies. The battle could be won for Triarii perfectly, but the luck was with Dailamies this time.

A tight game as the score suggests. Superior infantry won the day although it went down to the wire.
