On the first battle who is the attacker? Please make sure this is clear on all result postings.

Battle of Kretti

12,623/23,000 - 40/36 - LOSE
Defender: Maximvs (Rhome)
10,898/36500 - 30/43 - WIN
The province of Kretti remains within the Rhoman Empire and all Krettins everywhere are celebrating their deliverance!
Kretti should not be under attack - a player's capital area cannot be attacked until all other areas have been lost.

Morbious vs Eupatoria
Battle of Thermadonia (part 1)
Attacker: Morbio (Seleucid)
7,890/43,000 - 21/39 - WIN
Defender: Xiccarph (Carthage)
14,017/44,520 - 47/44 - LOSE
Will the Eupatorians cede the province or will the be allowed to fight on?
BTW: Something that's been bugging me for a while.... how can an army have a size that doesn't end in 500 or 000 when the smallest unit size you can recruit is in multiples of 500? Surely, 520 is a bug.... is the summary screen posting the correct numbers?

Clan Braveheart update

Victory for Clan Braveheart after a long uphill battle of attrition against the Westralian Empire on the Plain of Broome:
We learnt it takes 3-4 highlanders to take down a Superior knight or Swiss pikeman........fortunately 4-5 highlanders each were available.....
Attacker: Clan Braveheart (Isles & Highlands) 17,826/77,500 30/55
Defender: Westralians (Ordonnance French) 14,459/37,000 45/38
Over winter, our victorious armies will stay in the field for campaigns in progress:
One victory vs Nervii in Cortoriacum
One victory vs Westralia in Broome
Our defeated armies come home to a warm fire (am I setting up the wrong incentives here?)
One defeat vs Tuam in Muck - campaign abandoned
Battles still underway:
Attack vs Egypt in Barren Cliffs
Attack vs Rome in Liguria
Attack vs Revoltus in ?
Defend vs Crimea in Hauran

A good victory to davouthojo. We tried the standard French battle tactics (running away and waving white flags), but to no avail. While standing stead-fast upon a hill a strong wind blew amongst the Scottish host. The French troops were nver the same after that dreadful sight. We fight again.

Victory in Sambre

Utopian peacekeepers were successful in relieving Eupatoria of its rebellious citizens in Sambre. However, it appears we were unable to save the Eupatorian state as the enemy general inofrms me that the rebillion was successful and that the Eupatorian king is dead. Therefore, it would appear there is no need to fight a second battle. Here are the results:
Utopia Peacekeepers: 28/42 BGs 38,040/7,951
Eupatorians: 45/44 BGs 44,520/17,771

57000/19888 - 44/48 - WIN
Defender:hidde(Free Company)

Despite a desperate effort against overwhelming odds the Free Company receives yet another defeat.
The ever shrinking Canaan empire see no other choice but to cede the province of Pirate Harbor to Crimea

Peter G, can you confirm if one battle is all that is required to capture the province when Eupatoria is in anarcy?

I wished it could be so, but it's not the Coveninters that lost. It was Canaan.
The ever shrinking Canaan empire see no other choice but to cede the province of Pirate Harbor to Crimea
And please refrain to mix up the proud Canaan with perfidious Covenanter Empire in the future

Highlanders will fight on against the evil Crimean Empire

The % casualties were about equal, and Winter is approaching, the highlanders fight on in Hauran against the Crimean empire
Noting that we are learning how to fight the Lancastrians, and are improving every battle, can we suggest that Crimea goes home?
