Except there are 24 scenarios in the Afrika Korps campaign....not all desert scenarios of course.

I'd rather prefer the devs changed the other barely-recognizable rough desert variants to look similar to the single one which stands out on the map.

You should follow the game's tradition and name him in an OoB-esque way, like Joseph Kozinski or Eddie Williams or something like that... :lol:

His stats are similar like a Soviet Commissar. The self-sacrificing Waffen-SS style should suit fine. I'm not sure if "noRetreat" works in range though.

I’ve arranged commander ranges like this:
Supreme Commander: 7
Field Marshal/Admiral of the Fleet: 6
Colonel General/General Admiral: 5
General/Admiral: 4
Lieutenant General/Vice Admiral: 3
Major General/Rear Admiral: 2
Colonel/Commodore: 1

Anything below these ranks is within battalion range (=0) what IMO suits fine for each single unit in most map scales.
Range 7 should work at least fine with map scales like in duplex' Berlin scenario:

Same stats like his German brother in mind: impatient breakthroughs with combined arms. See his Commissar commander(s) stats that emphasised even more offensive pressure.

Actually, I’ll only use it for briefings.
I did a test, to have an Avatar we are obliged to create a corresponding Commander, I will use your stats thank you.

I added a look-alike of "Adenoïd Hynkel" :
