Hi guys,
we've discussed this internally and decided that Rishat can replay his game if it can be completed in time. I'll leave you to work out the logistics of this with the tournament organiser, Goose.
Separately Alex is going to look in to whether he can repeat and fix the replay issue. This may not get fixed soon so the tournament will continue with the version as is, but on the understanding that re-downloading is not permitted for any reason.
If re-downloading is detected we'll have to remove you from the tournament, whatever the reason for it.
Thanks for your understanding.

Hi goose
The game agentj23 vs gwaylare ended today.
My Germans reached Trondheim in turn 14 and agentj23s Germans capitulated after turn 21. Both were interesting and fair games, winning the navy battle turned the balance in both games. We are now preparing for Low Countries.
@Lifever: Thinking for a long time and planing thoroughly never is an indication of cheating. This was just a misunderstanding of some people during the nervous discussion, I think.
Best regards
Gwaylare

This is AMDonline reply for my suggestion to replay our match:
"Am not playing in this tournament anymore, if they restore you, that means you didn’t cheat and you won the first match fairly
Congrats rishat"

So, reached abandoned game status. Tried sending you a PM goose but no response. Please advise.
I won on turn 19 as Germany.
We were on turn 23 with me easily holding as Allies.
The last turn processed was last Tuesday. It has been my opponents turn for over a week and no response to PM or forum posts.
Just a heads up and request for how to proceed.
Thanks

Ok Folks: I have waited until the official word came out and I have prayed about this and as organizer of the Tournament this is what I have decided:
1) I forgive the participants and even non participants for all the demeaning and slanderous things they have said about me. Like sn0wball so aptly said this is a game and not worth even the organizer's peace of mind.
2) In a show of no hard feelings I accept Rishat's challenge to be my next victim...I mean opponent for Round 3, Low Countries. (Which I am hoping to post next Wednesday, 3/07/17.)
3) I also have extended time limit to complete Round 2, Norway. You have until Monday, March 3rd, 2018. This gives you an additional weekend to get the battle finished, with about 1/3rd of the matches completed, I am hopeful that this extra time may not be needed but is still available for opponents.
4) Lastly, I am expecting Slitherine to monitor all matches for any Shenanigans aka reloads of any scenarios. If they document any more re downloads of matches, I expect to only be notified that this person is eliminated from the Tournament. I will not be involved, nor was I involved in this initial decision, I was, and only will be informed.
I expect a clean game.
Keep posting or pm, or emailing me the results of this game.
Again, in full disclosure, I am just some Lutheran in Iowa who loves this game and my biggest hope has been to increase the amount of people recognizing and enjoying my favorite aspect of this game, the multiplayer side, and if I have tarnished this in any way, I am truly sorry.
Blessings and as always...Stay Lutheran My Friends.

Wow, I don't watch the forum for a few days and look at all the controversy that breaks out! Glad things have been mostly worked out. Those commenting on the weather discrepancy are likely better players than I and looking for the gold medal, where I am a novice and just happy to play in a cool tournament - so not as broken about the bad breaks with weather.
Goose, note that Jad43 and I both won as Axis, but I won in fewer turns - weather definitely could have been a factor as Jad43 is a difficult opponent.
Frankly it scares me to think of playing Sealion as Axis against a human, but I guess in a paired game that fear goes both ways!

Goose.
Please give me some guidance. Ive posted here several times and pmed.
I won as axis on turn 19
My opponent has stopped sending his turns at turn 23 with him as axis. He has no real chance to win before time, but has failed to continue turns.
What is the process?
Thanks

The process is you win. You will be marked down as winner of both sides and I will send you and your opponent an email when I get home today. Sorry, I have not responded to this before now.
