One of my rare wins vs eric...he won initative, but rather than attack his pikes uphill in the open, I preferred to park my longbows in a big field. Eric could have had an easy draw, but his attacking flair was too strong and he made a run past the field to engage the Yorkist foot. With the German flank constrained, the Yorkists were able to grind down the Swiss for a win.

Thessalians won the initiative and followed a successful strategy of taking out the enemy lights whilst the Carthaginian main line was too far away to intervene. The Thessalians then concentrated against a relief force of enemy mediums pushing their break point score past the two thirds mark with victory in sight. Finally the Carthaginians main force attacked and everything changed, carefully organised and fresh they ripped the opposing Thessalians to pieces, whilst a brave spanish medium held up the victorious Thessalians in the north. The last turn saw the break point difference down to three points (from 25 or so earlier) and through luck more than judgement the shocked Thessalians just scraped home to victory. Thanks for a great battle - one to remember.

Hi incorrect initiative was mine I picked the map that suited my force started playig and opened a lead with the plan I developed for this map then promptly changed my mind crossed a stream split my force and the world fell apart, friggin late knights in thsi force are almost oimpossibly hard to kill dang it would have been better shredding them with bow, lesson learnt.

Hey guys i got a strange one in Div b I just accepted a game with cavehobbit clicked on it to bring it up to do the usual and instead of the usual you ahve won initiave pick a map or your opponent has it went straight into a deployment screen with what looks like a crowded map, err wtf? Has anyone else experienced this?
Cave I'm okay with playing the match and will just deal with what fate has dealt me but strange eh

Yes Rex its happened to me afew times and you end up with a battlefield you dont want
What i have figured is that causes it though is once you have selected your army sometimes the server is slow to recognise what you have picked so you click the mouse again and end up straight into the battle grpound. Your chance to pick from the 4 different maps has gone and your straight in. I am very carefull now to wait until the map screens come up before i click my mouse for selection. Hope this explains what has happened.
