Dont worry Rex last time i played Cytus we had 1 or 2 days to go before he accepted and we played the whole lot in 3 hours . So once you get him keep it going and it will be over in no time

I have to chase up a player who is supposed to be challanging me so who knows what will happen there

Sharkall Scots in Britain (early) vs Stockwellpete Anglo Irish (Later)
Result: 34/41 (82%) vs 17/43 (40%)
Points: 4 pts (1 + 3) vs 2 pts (1+1)
Good game thanks to Pete. There was a hill on his side near the middle of the map, so I tried attacking on one side, to avoid being shot from the hill. A couple MF highlanders were sacrificed to LS cavalry, but eventually the knights arrived to repair the situation. I had the advantage with leading charges from the knights and impact MF's (which got mostly good dice), and managed to kill some of the troops which were waiting for me on flat ground. Sadly, two LF resisted rear charges and other two units heavy losses from multiple sided attacks during the last turn, so the last point needed for 75% avoided my grasp ...

Eric, sharkall should get 4pts not 3pts as I conceded 3 or 4 break points on my tenth turn and that took him over the 75% threshold.

Hi Pete/Marius so what was the final result please.
Marius' score only shows it to be a 3 vs 2

Oh, Pete's right, I forgot I began the match and his was the last turn
The problem is he didn't resign either, and on the beginning of my 11th turn I took the camp, and now have 38 pts. So I'd guess 38-4 = 34 pts would be what I finished with. Is that okay Pete ?

Eric, the match score was 4-2 to sharkall.
Sharkall, I am at work on my "lunch" break at the moment so I cannot check the score "in game". But, yes, you actually captured my camp in turn 11 so those points do not count in the game but you had crossed the 75% threshold in any case by the time I had finished my turn. My losses were actually showing in the game as 34/41 at the end of turn 10.

Hello Astrides are you out there still waiting for you to make your first move . It would be most unfortunate if this turned into a no contest as you have had plenty to say on other slow players

Result
The Scots came down the hill , naturally dressed under their kilts
Even with that distraction and after a quick vomiting spree , the
French nights and Swiss Pike proved just a little too much for the
"free an natural" barbarians.
Iandavidsmith (17/32) = 6pts
defeats
Martog Scots Isles (41/41) = 3pts
Eric , please check points.
Thanks Martog for the game , Cheers Ian

You posted this at 6 am my time, and you only sent me your move yesterday. It's the weekend, which for some of us means late drunken nights and slow starts.
Take a kitkat.

You're confusing me with someone else, as if you look around you'll see I have never castigated slow players. On the contrary. What I have debated is the way tourn organisers deal with slow/no-show players. Which i feel sure you are able to see is an entirely different issue.
Lastly, I have now been waiting for your move for over 5 minutes, so get cracking.

It was three days - and I admit to being remiss there and had/have no issue with your posting to remind me at the time.
I just think posting on the forum if someone doesn't make a move in a day is going too far.
I'll be up late tonight, no doubt, and at home so we can play a big chunk during your tomorrow if that works for you as I'm always happy to give you another thrashing (I wonder how that statement will affect my dice...)- and let's PM this discussion from now on

All results have been recorded up to this point inc the 4 vs 2 to Sharkall
For the future will prob give a win to players if their opponent is slow, resigns, faulty computer etc. It will be based on the scoring system. For example a maximum win could be a 10 vs 1, while a minimum win (that is routing 100% of opponents army) may be a 7 vs 3 and so I would offer a 7 vs 3 win.
Again this is a different competition based on limited time, turns so if I run another one will need some suggestions from players.
