The Thracians deployed quite far back between two forests with the Galatian army either side of a large forest in their centre with only light infantry in the middle. I had taken more light infantry and sent them forward to the forest and eventually destroyed all of the Galatian lights and then began harassing their warband, while the rest of my army sat back. Eventually the main battle lines clashed and the Galatians made early inroads but the Thracian centre held and eventually broke their opponents for the win.

Deeter (Antigonid) defeats Rob123 (Hannibal in Africa) 40-8

The Carthaginians deployed in a strong hill top position while the Antigonids set up some distance away with woods on one flank and rough covering the other. After some vigorous skirmishing, the lighter Carthaginian right came down to threaten the woods. The Antigonids mounted a mixed-arms attack on these with lancers and pikes, let by their CnC astride an elephant. While in pursuit, the general encountered the enemy CnC, also on an elephant.

On distant Mount Olympus, the gods looked down and at the moment, perversely smote them both simultaneously! The only loses in the melee were both CnCs. This dismayed the Antigonids with a thuero and a pike unit fragged. Fortunately, both survived but could add little to the fight. In another sign of divine disfavor, the Punics seemed to rally as quickly as they could be routed. Still, their right was crushed before heavier troops could save them.

Hard to sum up: the Byzantines won in the centre, I feel the Indian archers came to far forward. The Indians won on the right flank, which could have been decisive except that at one point one Indian Lancer ended up ahead of the rest of the line and when three Byzantine cavalry ganged up on him the ensuing pursuit swept away two other cavalry in one fell swoop. Not long after that it looked as though the Byzantines would comfortably win, but in Elephant power brought it back to a draw. Great game!
