Hello Cw58! I am happy to know that my work is useful to someone...
Here are slightly improved versions of such big units, with better insignia.

Greetings!

Hello... I started playing a new Afrika Korps campaign... So, I will be updating some of the unit icons graphic used in it to improve the looks of them (or just adapt the units to my taste!). Also, as a derived project, I will try to make an "hibrid" campaign using as a base the Afrika Korps Extended Campaign made by Nikivdd and integrating some of the scenarios made also by Nikivdd for the I think never released Legacy of Versailles Vanilla Campaign... This "new" one will be called Afrika Korps Expanded Campaign... Not the most imaginative name, but the best I could think about so far... :-)

Here are the icons for the regular MC.200 Saetta Italian fighter and a SE variant for it, which is heavily based on the original icon made by Bebro. I decided to rework this unit because the vanilla game unit didn't look accurate in its outline in my opinion. Greetings!

Thanks Uzbek for your nice words! I already released some Yugoslavian units... Of course, I will make some more. There are some interesting vehicle conversions made by them. 8)

This time, a little visual mod for this game user interface. As I like to mod a lot of switchable units, I had the idea to make the "enabled switch" button more visible, to help me remember that the selected unit still has the possibility of being switched in that turn... I know that other mods use an indicator pasted in the icon image present on the map, but I don't like this idea very much, because when there are a lot of units on the map, it makes it look very cluttered... So, this little mod (just one file to replace), gives a visual clue on the units command panel present on the right part of the screen that the selected unit can be switched. Just overwrite the file present in the UI/buttons directory of the Panzer Corps game folder (make a back-up of the original file, first) with the file provided here, to achieve this "visual effect".

A replacement icon for the Spitfire Mk.I (also suitable for most early marks of this aircraft). I made this one because the vanilla game icon looked much more like the late war variants of the Spitfire, than the early ones... Enjoy! 8)

Here is the big unit portrait for the early, unarmored version of the Sdkfz. 7/1 SPAAG... 8)

Hello Cw58! Nice to know you like those new big unit portraits...
Here are a new, slightly improved version of the unarmored Sdkfz.7/1 and a new Sdkfz.7 (tractor version) with the correct roadwheels... Next, I will make the SE versions for them...

Greetings!

Hello Guille,
Thank you very much for your green button "panzerbutton_mbutton09_act.png"
I tried it and it is really effective!
It's a very good idea.
Best regards
Yves

Hello Yves!

I am glad you liked this little "mod" idea. In my case, as I like to play with a highly edited equipment file with many switchable units, it's a very useful visual help... 8)
Greetings!

Hello to all!

For my current "play through" of the Afrika Korps campaing, which, incidentally is an attempt to make an "expanded" North African campaign with some edited scenarios taken from here and there... I am making some new and replacement icons, some of them will be shown here.

Now, it is the turn of a British truck, the Bedford QLD... Enjoy!

Also, a renewed icon for the Chevy-WB truck, which represents the vehicles used by the LRDG special forces. The original icon looked very large to me when compared with other icons, for example the British tanks. So, I downsized it somewhat, and also made a desert-camo version (for the SE LRDG units present in the equipment file). I hope you like them...

Hi Guille,

I agree with your comment in the other thread (Der Andere Weg submod) about the looks of the vanilla Bedford. I'll be using yours from now on. And I wanted to let you know that, like Yves, I've incorporated your new, green switch button. Anything that makes it easier on my old, tired eyes.

Hello CW58! Thanks for your nice words! I am happy you liked the idea... And yes, my old "eagle eyes" are also more "old" and less "eagle"... :-)
