Not too late at all, Matsu. We are talking to other players and the prospects of running an extra division are looking quite good now.

No. October 1st is the starting date.

OK, I guess that will give me time to figure out how fight the Lithuanians who can purchase up to 8 heavy armored kniggits.
You need not figure how to fight the Lithuanians, but how to fight me.

And remember that they're mirror matches too, so I'll have to figure the same thing as well.
Edit: Also, I don't think it's specified if Allies are allowed to be used in the Eternal Empire part?

The committee has decided that there definitely will be a fourth division in this section. At the moment there are still 5 vacancies left and we will keep recruitment open during October until we fill these spaces. Matches will still start on October 1st though.

Rule 2
For each of the sections players will always field a 400pt army from their own list; allies can be included if desired. Players are free to customise their army before each battle.
Rule 3
Players must register their first result in each section they have entered within one month of the opening of the tournament or they may be replaced by a player from the reserve list.
Rule 4
“Fog of War” and “Double Moves” settings are mandatory for this league. Either player may initiate a match by posting a challenge in the appropriate thread in the competition forum. If a match is set-up incorrectly for any reason then it must be re-started as soon as possible. Players may also agree to restart a game during the first two turns if they feel the map terrain makes it likely that the match will be stalemated. Reporting the result of a match is the responsibility of the winning player.
Rule 6
Please treat organisers and other players in the way that you would wish to be treated yourself. Try to respond to communications as quickly as you can and once you have started a match play at a regular pace so it can be completed within a reasonable timespan. It is expected that all matches will be completed within one month of their starting date. If you are unable to play for a period of time then please let your opponents know in advance, whenever possible. Please notify the tournament organisers if you are unable to contact an opponent or if they fail to make a move in a match in progress after 7 days have elapsed without explanation.
Please always set your challenge to "any book".
Please remember to PM your opponent as well as placing the challenge in this thread.

Rule 2
For each of the sections players will always field a 400pt army from their own list. Players are free to customise their army before each battle. The ruling on using allies in this section is as follows - allied leaders and contingents may always be selected in your armies except for situations where your army is fighting against that particular nation. So, for example, in the Dimitry Donskoi group, the Later Russian (early) player may choose Lithuanian allies against the Golden Horde or the Timurids but may not choose them against the Lithuanians. There are no restrictions on "exile" troops that sometimes appear in the main part of the army list (e.g. Tatar exiles).
Rule 4
“Fog of War” and “Double Moves” settings are mandatory for this league. Either player may initiate a match by posting a challenge in the appropriate thread in the competition forum. Players may also agree to restart a game during the first two turns if they feel the map terrain makes it likely that the match will be stalemated. Reporting the result of a match is the responsibility of the winning player. Note: players in the Louis the Great group should set their challenges to "any book" when playing in a match involving the Venetian Condotta (outside Italy) as this army is from "Storm of Arrows".
