Division C
ScipioAsinus Arab Conquest (33/42) vs Porsenna Lombard (48/46)

Porsenna won the initiative
A tough battle, the uneven terrain hampered my Arab spears which were hit hard by combined attacks from Lombard archers and heavy cavalry.
Porsenna routed most of my cavalry wing.
In the end, the superior morale of the Arabs prevailed.

Thanks for the game, Porsenna.

Hi,

I just got the last one out:

Dear davnnn, the password for your game is "swiss"

As for the games, conflict with rexhurley (very scary free company), ScipioAsinus, and epos has begun. Other challenges wait to be picked up.

Time to turn to Classicism.

B division

Aristides' Carthies (26/45) defeated Finir's Bactrians (41/40).
I think Finir had the initiative.

Nice to have a fairly involved plan actually work.
(S) Arm OffSp HF rock - so versatile....

I think... I entered the score into the sheet...

Classic B

Ironclad (Thessalian) 54/54 vs rexhurley (LRR) 21/35

Romans won initiative formed up and advanced in classic rhomboid, after some initial losses to my skrimishers ground forward as the Thessalians tried to move to the left and heavy terrain i just kept pressing forward making him commit his hoplites which by then were on lower ground stacked up one behind the other he never gave himself a chance when the front line broke in the end he chose to send in some ujntis to break in the last turn otherwise the bg kill rate would have been a lot higher in one more turn.

Thanks for the game and Greece has now been assimilated into the Empire, resistance is futile I am coming for you all 8)

Classic B

Ironclad (Thessalian) 53/54 vs cavehobbit (Early Carthaginian) 61/60

Thessalians won the initiative and followed a successful strategy of taking out the enemy lights whilst the Carthaginian main line was too far away to intervene. The Thessalians then concentrated against a relief force of enemy mediums pushing their break point score past the two thirds mark with victory in sight. Finally the Carthaginians main force attacked and everything changed, carefully organised and fresh they ripped the opposing Thessalians to pieces, whilst a brave spanish medium held up the victorious Thessalians in the north. The last turn saw the break point difference down to three points (from 25 or so earlier) and through luck more than judgement the shocked Thessalians just scraped home to victory. Thanks for a great battle - one to remember.
