Chris in my opinion the wings are not in the PzC perspective.
Besides you've to be carefully with the Finnish Swastika you cannot invert it.
I prefer to cut the wings from a similar wings geometry plane:

with wings markings:

The problem with the wing markings is that I cannot recreate the corrects perspective.
With these, you can use the animation offset values of the Breda BA.65.

As for the Blenheim I can do it, but maybe only tomorrow or after.

Yeah, you are right...thats cool...to be honest I havent thought about cutting the wings from another plane...I was so lucky having found a CurtisP36 in a nearly correct persepective...I didnt really looked at the wings as I have done the unit over paper..I didnt put it into the game to compare :D ...thnx for the correction... you are the real PixelMaster
Dot you worry Paulo...time is not of essence with the units. If you can help me out with one or another Iam very thankful..its irrelevant if it takes one day or one week

Dwight... ..I was referring to find a picture in the right PzC perspective. I have 3ds Max and I could probably do the unit from scratch but since Iam not very experienced with it, it would me take days and a few attempts, even for a low poly model. The effort would not be in proportion to its end.

oh...that' ll be great..I have looked at DMPs Winter War but their units are very far away from vanilla appearance..it fits ok with their graphical style but doesnt fit to well wit PzC style

If you have the markings (on the wings) as independant objects/layers, it could help to reduce their size with anti-alias active, but only in Y direction (so the "height") to achieve the perspective look. It probably gets blurry then, so I'd sharpen a bit. That will give not perfect markings still, but it could be worth trying...

AWEEEEEEESOME Nico... :D ...they are all there...
Fokker,Blendheim,Fiat,Curtiss,Brewster ...complete package...
Do you remember if there were ever some offsets provided to them ?
If not..well...I just fiddel around with them until I find something suitable...

Paulo...only thing needed now would be the Bf-109, if you feel like doin it..if not,no worrys.. I will do it at a later stage...

+1...
stretched to an oval by reducing the y axis and extending the x axis a bit usually gets good results and looks pretty perspective like

The rar includes the efx and e-file data in a txt file . For the efile, this were values i chose myself. The efx, well i cannot vouch that everything is perfect ;).

yeah..its obvioulsy easier to do it while the model is still big (300-400px) and having the markings as independent layers...
once working on such small models things become pretty tricky

Bf-109 G
but if you look at them closely they all the same model..only difference is the letter on the body
so if the letter gets covered with somehting different it doesnt really matter what image you take

since Iam tired of coding right now Iam fiddeling around with the map..making a bit more finetuning...then I get my hands on the soviets..and then finish with finland and croatia

Finally reworked the map and made some further finetuning using some of Massis new tiles but after making some tests I decided to stay as close as possible to vanilla style to not clutter up the overall appearance

These map is final now

Chris, those maps look marvellous. I am going to enjoy playing on those kinds of maps. I agree about clean maps. I love Massi's tiles and use them much more than vanilla, but it is easy to get carried away since his tiles are so good and varied. They are like using different flavors of ice cream when you love it all. LOL>
