Of course, the plunderer's wagon can be sold for more prestige points. Just like the slaves, or later, if you capture a Roman diplomat, you can also turn him into cash.

AAAAAH, I'm late ! I didn't had time to finish to play the carthaginian campaign yet !
I'm happy to have new roads tiles, I'll modify 490 and 491 AUC campaigns soon to place them... manually, unfortunately

It was an epic battle; even the nudists didn't have time to freeze because it was so hot on the battlefield. But now another fierce trial awaits us: the destruction of the leader of another tribe in the fortress.

Don't worry, the campaign isn't going anywhere.

The next update will include a unit and faction pack, along with the new road network. However, this will take some time, as these things take a while. Whether you want to wait is entirely up to you.

I began to think the Battle of Wolfs valley had been too easy.

My preliminary core list of nations/factions:
Time frame: end in the 2nd century AD (before the division of the empire, but with an imperial-era atmosphere)
Rome
Celts/Gauls/Britons
Etruscans
Carthage
Iberians
Numidians
Macedon
Ptolemies
Scythians
Gladiators/Slaves
Epirus
Syracuse
Germans
Dacians
Parthians
Greeks, plus subfactions as needed such as the Veneti, for example, or possibly additional barbarian tribes.
In the next update, 2–3 new factions will be available along with their corresponding units. At the moment I am working on Syracuse.

I watched the replay; if you had placed a unit on the wolf marker one turn earlier, in turn 23, you would have received an additional unit as a reward. However, you already have plenty of battle-hardened warriors; that should be more than enough for the upcoming mission.

Over the past few days, I've continued working on the factions and their units; Syracuse is now almost finished. This faction also has at least one elite unit, if I may call it that: the Toxotai Apollonos, exceptionally skilled archers with special abilities. Since I read somewhere that Syracuse also used artillery or siege weapons, I decided to include the onager and the scorpion. The scorpion artillery weapon comes from nikivdd, who kindly provided it to me.

I've changed this mission several times. First, I permanently reduced the units to 5, but that was too difficult. Finally, I set it so that the units automatically replenish to 7 after every loss. I think that was a good compromise.

Hooray, the Roman engineers are here!

Yes, I agree, it was the right decision. If, for example, the frost had continued to ravage my troops, it would have led to chaos and no one would have been able to advance anywhere.
My glorious campaign continues ) We kill, plunder, and capture )))
I like these Roman engineers. I hope they will be issued to us soon.

The next update will be a unit-only pack without a campaign; it will include the Roman bridge builders, numerous new units, and 2-3 new factions. This will give those who like to create their own scenarios or campaigns access to a larger pool of units and factions.

Once released (provided I have not switched on MC a bit) I will improve my 490 and 491 AUC campaigns with Syracuse faction instead of the generic Greek units I used.

Just a precision about Syracuse units, since you didn't talk about it : its cavalry also had a good reputation in the Ancient World.
It was one of the only sicilian city-state that was able to field a large cavalry contingent, and it gained a solid reputation during the Athenian expedition in Sicily. It was indeed 150 years before the first punic war, but its cavalry was still reknown then.
It was not a "miracle" nor "iconic weapon", but I'd say their cavalry could have a small boost to their stats compared to other generic cavalry units of the Western Mediterranean factions.

That's right, the Syracusan cavalry had very good qualities, I've already taken that into account; the Lancers are dangerous opponents. I'll test them and others at the end and possibly make some adjustments.

In the distance, the cries of the Serbian special forces and the satisfied laughter of the Albanians could be heard again.

Oh, it was a wonderful trip along the coast. We destroyed almost all of our enemies and collected a lot of trophies, so I had to deliberately prolong the mission in order to take all the slaves and livestock, and even then I didn't manage to clear out the last group of shepherds. We captured all the cities and plundered them. Now I am rich, and my veterans are preparing for new battles.

I'm glad you enjoyed the mission. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to collect all the gifts either. I also have a small update: I'm currently working on a feature to enable/disable cavalry, specifically the wedge formation. With this feature, attacking cavalry will have a higher attack value against infantry. However, this feature will only be available for certain cavalry units, such as the Macedonian Companion Cavalry.
