Playing with an additional units mod will cause this crash. Make sure you are not playing with a units mod. It is not compatible apparently with some LUA scripting. If you wish to continue you will have to use a runany Victory 0 console code to end the scenario and continue. An eventual patch will remove the LUA scripting for this scenario that causes the units mod not to work but that mod could crash with other scripting down the road as well so it is not recommended to play with it on this mod.

Thanks so much for clearing that up! I really was enjoying the campaign with my Finnish Anti-tank volunteers, though. Oh well :cry: ...
You can also use the console code to move the round past that turn as well to continue.
I looked, but I cannot find the console code to advance a turn... any guidance?

I looked, but I cannot find the console code to advance a turn... any guidance?
Open the chat dialogue tab at the top of screen in the scenario.
In the chat box type runany Victory 0 (that's a zero not an O) That will automatically advance you with a victory to the next scenario. Or in the chat box type setany round 17 in the scenario before the crash occurs and that should take you beyond the round with the weather script.

I tried to use the "setany round 17," and still got crashes, all the way through the end of the scenario. I just forced a victroy and moved on. Been going fine so far

The ahistorical branch of Africa Corps is not finished, only the historical branch. Grondel will be working on finishing the ahistorical branch in a few months. So stay tuned as we will announce here when it is done.

If u have steam, go to the workshop and subscribe to the mod. it will install all by itself. if not check the first post of this thread for the download-link and instructions.

Assuming you have it on steam, this is very easy, couple more steps otherwise.

Steam workshop page: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 2410075863 , click the big green Subscribe button, steam should start a workshop download for the whole 100mb or so, give it a minute.

After thats done, launch the game, from the title screen you will see New Game|Load Game|Multiplayer|Mods (click this), now mod manager that pops up below it, now you click the box next to "PC1 Grand Campaign - Steam", will turn it white/fill it in.
Finally hit apply, that done, back out to the title menu, click new game, campaign, and at the bottom of your campaign lists you'll see "Panzercorps 1" and its associated campaigns.

Far as updating the mod, it will update on its own whenever the good folk in charge of the workshop page push an update through.

Having a blast fighting my way through the eastern front. Finally got to 1943 and am trying to retake Kharkov. Everything going well but on turn 10 I get a system crash. The error says it's an Unreal issue: Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000000000008 during the AI turn. It gets about halfway through its turn and crashes after a tank east of Kharkov moves to engage my lead forces. 71st T-34/41. Is this a known issue? Thanks.

The weather scricpt in Kharkov seems to make trouble, will be fixed next update. I will wait till AO 1943 is out to adress issues caused by the patch.

For now u can try turning off all other mods, sometimes helps. u will have to start Kharkov from anew after turning off all other mods.

Hi,

I played the GC Afrikakorps until the end.

The last mission "Suez Canal" says "capture 6 victory hexes". I succeeded only to conquer 4 of them.

But where are the rest?

All cities, ports and airfields are conquered by me and have german flags (except Marsa Matruh, Sidi Barrani and the airfield near El Alamein. They sport italian flags). It seems like they are "invisible".

Is there anybody with that problem?

Thanks Grondel. I was pretty far along in Kharkov so I just declared victory and moved onto the next scenario. Everything seems to be working fine.
