Hello AKRebel
Happy new year for you, Phcas, and the team members.
Yes French language is already in the vanilla PC but when I play with your mod, sometimes certain texts or messages are not translated into French.
Greetings.
Bruno
Hello Bruno,
Happy New Year to you too.
yes, I know what you mean, here I only translated the menu language. Translating every single scenario is a lot of work, but since we are constantly expanding the scenarios, that doesn't make sense at the moment. Maybe later...
If you need help for french translation ...
We would be happy to hear that, but remember if the scenario changes, a new update is required.
Please translate all English PAK scenarios into French.
You can find this under \ Panzer Corps \ Data, the files end with the file extension .pzloc. For example Poland.pzloc. You can open this file with a normal text editor. One line looks like this, for example, "
IDS_SCEN_DESCRIPTION Fall Weiss, the German plan for the invasion of Poland, is underway; WWII begins." All entries with IDS are game IDs and must remain that way, all subsequent entries can be changed in the respective language. All character strings within the text with a beginning "
<" and an ending "
>" must not be changed either, as they are required for a correct display.

McGuba's icon.
Ask him if you can use his icon.
10.5_cm_FlaK_38.png
Hello McGuba,
Do you mind we use your icon?
Hey, only for the record, although I created quite a lot of icons, this one is not "mine". I looked it up and it looks like I took it from the icon collection of "LuftWFJ44". As for the icons that I actually made, you or others do not need to ask for my permission as I also use icons made by others, including you in my mods for which I am grateful. What I do is I try to give proper credit to all those whose icons I use i.e. list their names in the readme files and in the Credits section of the in-game Library which is a nice thing for sure. I also have a long (though incomplete) list of the icons and their creators at the end of the readme file of my mod so people can see who made what. Not that really matters, but I believe credit should go where it is due. For example this particular icon and its creator is missing from my list but now I will add it. Other than that, as far as I know so far only Hbalck had problems with others using his icons and maybe Puma as well, but I am not sure about the latter.
Greetings,
McGuba

Thanks McGuba,
We collected all kind of units in stock and do not know always were they come from. We sometimes use them to rework or just as they are. We gave ourself the freedom to do this. From the other side we (PAK team) create a very very lot of new unit graphics and share them with everyone free to use. Our Goal is to get the best graphics we can get for the PAK mod and allow others who are working on their own mod to use the best.
I want to name Wurschtmaxe with all new aircrafts graphics
AKRebel with new land and all navy units
And my own graphic contributions in different way's
We have given so much to the forum already that people have to forgive us as in that massive number of units a few units from somebody else are included.
HBalck is a different story. I worked close together with him years ago at modding Eastfront and Westfront. But with Panzer Corps he started using a different style of graphics than I did. This style does not fit with our PAK mod graphic style. So we can not use his graphics anyway.
I want to thank everybody from the PAK mod team who supported us in all kind of things in the year 2020. Some things are not so visible for the forum but for example manage the Equipment file and input the correct data (PHCAS/Radovan) is a hell of a job. Tony is doing a great job with scenario preparation and now with the MP scenarios. The Artillery collection of Birgeria is very promising and usefull for 2021.
Thanks again everyone
Greetings PHCAS

Hello AKRebel.
1) Please give me the list of PAK-Mod scripts to translate them into French.
2) While waiting for the 0.50 version, I played the big campaigns 39 and 40 with your mod. I have a problem with the Pz-IV D (green arrow) units: they are grey, very grey, so grey. Moreover in 1939 and 1940, it was impossible to buy SS units (red arrow).
Greetings. Bruno

Yes it is indeed often difficult to find out who was the orignial creator of a certain icon. Many of these are now circulating around the different mods of different desingers and sometimes they are changed and improved by other people several times. I think most people are happy to see their icons being used by other mods and that's fine for me as well. The more nice mods are being made the better for everyone, modders and players alike.
