With bow and chariot the Chinese slowly and methodically cut through the Spanish lines. However the depth in the Spanish defense allowed them to contain and eliminate those breakthroughs while the legions spearheaded the counterattack that destroyed the Chinese main line.

The chinese cavalry were seen off on both flanks leaving the Pyrrhic infantry to close to melee the chinese infantry unmolested apart from some casualties received from bow fire. Once engaged the chinese infantry were no match for the phalanxes.

A stream and lake helped to protect the English archers and guns early on , allowing them to do serious early damage. However once the Landsknechts made contact things quickly changed with the Danish making a strong comeback. Only good fortune allowed the English to hang on for a desperate win after a very bloody encounter!

The battlefield was fairly open, but had a narrow sparsely wooded hill running from one battle line to the other. The Poles brought an entirely mounted army and deployed across the middle, while the Sicilians put their Muslim archers onto the hill, had only light foot on their left, and their better foot and mounted on the right.

The Sicilian mounted very quickly turned the Poles left flank thanks to a Polish lancer breaking after two turns of combat and eventually broke it. The Polish knight units with crossbowmen mixed in where the toughest troops on the battlefield and had their wins, but the Sicilian archers held the hill long enough to win elsewhere.
