Annoyed by a long stream making it hard to concentrate the Sassanid horse poked and prodded at the Jewish lines while avoiding any real combat but their foot was not so quick to escape and tried to hunker down in some cover but couldn't last the massed zealots and irregulars, concentrated skirmisher fire killed enough cavalry to finish the job. Thanks for the game and chat as ever.

edb1815 (Aragonese w/ Castillian allies) defeats rpadilla1988 (German Imperial w/ German SE allies) 44-17.

Both sides played aggressive and charged in with knights being thrown in all down the lines. An advantage on one flank was stymied by a Spanish push in the center and several untimely German routs of knights didn't help their cause. GG to my opponent.

A deep stream in the middle of the battlefield was a big advantage for me.

At the bottom, it is still all to play for with 6 players still needing to win matches to avoid the drop. In Division B Captainwaltersavage (Hannibal in Italy) needs to convincingly win his last match against carpenkm (Roman) to overtake the current leader, desertedfox (Kyrenean Greek) and set batesmotel (also Roman) a target of 26 points to win automatic promotion. To reach that target batesmotel needs 8 points from 3 matches. All the main issues have already been decided in Division C, while in Division D sivispacem (Scots-Irish) has moved to the top with 6 successive wins. Blagrot (Jewish Revolt) is also going well in third place with 5 wins from 7 starts. At the bottom, both Doyley50 (Palmyran) and gamercb (Arab City) desperately need points from their last matches to avoid relegation. It is very tight at the top of Division A where harveylh (Irish) has moved back to the top of the table to lead tyronec (Dailami) and Nosy_Rat (Viking Ireland) by 1 point and 3 points respectively, although both players have completed 1 match less than the leader. At the bottom 13 points is definitely safe at the moment, but should bottom-placed MorkinTheFree (Scots-Irish) win his last match against Triarii (Arab North Africa) then Triarii, Stew101 (Indian Hindu) and mr cholo (German) would all need at least 1 more win to avoid the drop. No major developments in Division B this week, but in Division C Giacofa93 (Viking Ireland) notched up a seventh win to go top of the table ahead of random27 (Navarrese). Giacofa93 needs just 1 point in his last match against paulmcneil (Rus) to win automatic promotion. At the bottom, paulmcneil needs 6 points from his last 3 matches to send General Shapur (Anglo-Danish) down. In Division D, late reserve Rosedelio (Croatian) extended his winning sequence to 8 matches and looks firm favourite for automatic promotion. The only player who can stop him now is Kerait (Arab Conquest). Kerait would have to beat Rosedelio 4-0 in their match together and then gain maximum points from his other 4 matches to take the top spot. In Division E, Zawzgrzyt (Viking Ireland) completed a very successful campaign with his eighth win. Although it was not enough to win the division outright, it certainly will be enough to gain a discretionary promotion next season. There is nothing to report from Division F.
