Can I remind players of provisions in the rules that you can use to deal with a slow opponent . . .

1) "Please notify the tournament organisers if you are unable to contact an opponent to start a match after 7 days have elapsed." (Rule 6)

2) "After the first Time Control check has passed, if your opponent has not moved at all for 7 days without explanation then you are entitled to claim the match automatically by using the multi-player in-game facility provided." (Rule 6)

3) "It is expected that all matches will be completed within one month of their starting date. Matches that continue for longer than one month may be adjudicated." (Rule 6)

Congratulations for this and the WTC

Well I am pleased, but I expect to be back battling in the B division before long. Thanks to all my opponents for making me work for it. The Portuguese army has been a delight to work with and now I am going to have to find a replacement. Once again - thanks to Pete for organising the whole competition. Hopefully I will enjoy next season as much as this one.

Twin waves of Zealots powered down a hill and into the Arab centre which singularly fairly to stand up to them, my right flank irregulars struggled against the cavalry coming at them but there was no time for that to affect the outcome. Thanks for the game.
