Carthaginian spears managed to battle through masses of Spanish skirmishers to reach the opposing main line in fairly decent shape. The Spanish impact foot then battered the Carthaginians and it was only due to their numerical superiority and some good work by the elephants that the Carthaginians carried the day. GG

We had 3 or 4 turns left to play, at 51-30, and Nijis decided to secure a draw, which was understandable. He started to pull out his troops, and given the distance it would be impossible for me to chase them down in time. I already accepted the draw. So I'm sitting, a bit resigned, and watching a replay of his turn and then... FANFARE! One of my units rallied and that gave me back 4 points needed to score a win. Complete and total surprise. It took me 10 seconds to realize what happened. Thank you for the game!
