A tighter battle than I expected early on. The Chen right flank held out well against the mounted troops of the Sui. A good battle thank you.

Good game. Lots of horses.

Division C

Morat (Franks/Vikings) defeats General Shapur (Anglo-Danish) 61-51

Blood bath fought in a narrow defile between two mountains. Lots of heroic shield wall/lancer and huscarl action. The decisive point came when the Franks managed to sneak a couple of cavalry units around the back of the Anglo-Danish right. The progressive disintegration of the Anglo-Danish right was just a little bit faster than the destruction of the Franks/Vikings on the other flank. Could have gone either way.

Thanks to General Shapur for a good game, played in a good spirit.

SawyerK with the Spartans defeated Garokan with the Carthaginians by 42 to 12.

In my previous match my Theophoroi double dropped repeatedly when hit by Samnites. In this game they held ground like heroes against Scutari which meant my left flank stayed in tact long enough for my pikes to grind through the center. RND gives and takes away and unfortunately for Garokan in this game it gave to me.

Nearly finished at 44-18 but two rallies stopped that and an exemplary defence with a steep hill wore down the Germans before the final win.
