Tobi72 wrote: Thu Feb 05, 2026 2:41 pm Here's some more information. I'm currently testing the penultimate mission of the Brennus campaign: the Battle of Allia. I'm trying to depict it as accurately as possible. The RomeCorps 0.3 update is mostly complete; I might just make a few minor adjustments to the equipment file. If all goes well, I think I can release everything soon. See you soon, Tobihjuz.pngScreenshot 2026-02-04 124516.png
That's great news!

Do you happen to know which mod these mules are from?

For me, as an average German, it's already difficult enough to read/translate Russian websites... but now Chinese ones too???

I also read this resource through a translator! Chinese craftsmen can sometimes surprise you! And if you manage to post your mod on their site, your fan base could grow exponentially, since every sixth person on planet Earth is Chinese.

An observation camp has been created for 2 people and 1 piece of armor, but that is not its main purpose. Its visual reconnaissance range is 5. That is its main purpose. It costs 140 honor points to purchase.

I have decided to split the last mission into two missions, so the Brennus campaign now comprises 14 varied missions.

Here is some additional information. The upcoming update will introduce three new factions: the Celts, the Etruscans, and Epirus. The Veneti will appear as a sub-faction of Etruria, and the Wolf Clan as a sub-faction of the Celts.
The update includes around 70 new unit graphics, including new assets for Rome, as well as several new and destructible buildings and additional combat sound effects. Terrain tiles have been revised, and a few new city tiles have been added. New awards, hero portraits, and menu graphics are also part of the update, along with French and Russian translations, the equipment file has been revised.
I have also decided to integrate the ground and river tiles from the Pak mod. I hope everything works as intended. And of course, the Celtic campaign is included as well.

I also had some success with the roads automatically generated in the editor. They no longer look like paved roads, but rather like dirty ones. I'm still trying to compensate for or fix the minimal offset errors.

Even in muddy conditions, the roads are still clearly visible.

So I got started ) I see that the game options interface has been updated and now better reflects the spirit of Roman grandeur ))) But as usual, the tasks for a convincing victory and a normal victory are not written before the moves, which is becoming a trademark of Toby's, where only time and moves matter )))

The Roman road maintenance department is already carrying out repairs. There are still a few minor misalignment issues.

The roads are not safe, you need to reduce your speed!

The AI program refused to process a Big Unit graphic for this unit. ; perhaps I'll do that later. You do receive rewards, but sometimes these aren't immediately apparent. For example, your unit on this marker with the wolf receives 100 experience points; this isn't always obvious at first glance. Other rewards, however, are immediately apparent, such as when your unit suddenly gains Strength 12 or even more instead of 10. This will be advantageous in the next battle.

If you place a unit on the marker with the flock of sheep in this mission, you will immediately receive 65 prestige points, which you can use to repair an injured unit.

Here's an alternative. Simply insert the graphic into RomCorps \UI\bigunits, and you're done.
